Can someone send me an invite to guild please, getting absolutely nowhere with some member named Rincewind.

I am online now, on the char Atreus. Char i originally applied with is named Gallus.
 
Had an epic event last night, I think a couple of guildies we're in the raid with me as we all dinged the achievement at the same time.

Was in Scarlet Gorge, only objective was to kill 50 invasions. They kept on coming for the main town till the boss arrived (massive robot armadillo thing) killed it and looted 650 planarite :D No epic though :( No idea what more I can do to contribute more.

I was in Scarlet Gorge last night too, it was mental!! about 6 rifts going on about 7 invasions, loads of Guardian too, just crazy stuff!! Cant remember getting 650 planarite :mad: but saying that can’t remember fighting a robot armadillo.

I was wondering what type of shard shivermere is?

If its pvp not sure if I'm interested, I read the manual and it says pvp is you can get attacked anywhere in the world, wheras pve is you can get attacked in specified areas.

I think pve is more my cup of tea, since I dont want to sit on my behind all day to get better than everyone else on the shard.

Or is it pve?
 
guys I'm just wondering if I can play this game today?

bought from a digital distributor, not steam, i see you need "head start" to play now, i have the digital ce and theres no mention of a head start in my account management.

im just wondering because i would rather download the 8gb overnight if i cant play right now.
 
servers open tonight at 6pm for the non head start people

I think they will lock the head start servers for a few hours as they are full already
to stop you making chars on there and overloading them.

You can download the client from the front page of Rift

Then apply the key in your account.
 
its pvp , but that starts at level 20

non pve has a lot of pvp focused stuff as well although you don't have to take part.
I think the end game will be pvp mainly.

I got on straight away last night at 6pm and waited 2 mins at 9:30. So it's fullish but that's great as you wouldn't want an empty one.

There is still tonnes of PVE on Shivermere. Most of what you do is PVE, especially early on. By the time you get to an area where PVP can take place you've got a good understanding of the game. And if you are in the guild we can always grief some griefers.

You shouldnt have a issue mate, just add your key to your account page and you should be playing in know time.
 
Might be being a div but how the hell do i read my mail messages? I can see the wee icon under the map but clicking it does nothing :confused:
 
Mailbox, by your map there are 4 buttons, if you click on one of those it will say mailbox, select that and it will show you any mailboxes on the map when you are near :)
