Press K and you can join the PvP battlegrounds. Instanced PvP. I think you can only access Black Garden at that level, and the levels range from 10-19, 20-29 etc.

I have to say this was by far the best experience I have had not only in a MMO but all games I have played. (Started MMO in Warth)
I was in the middle of questing then see 15 or so guardians ride past, gets an annoucment in Guild to join up then the next thing you see 30-45 mins fly by as you take part in open world PVP at the same time as getting hit by the invasions. love it.
Scarlet Gorge seems to be the place PVP really kicks off
Scarlet Gorge was a lot of fun last night.
I was questing there last night and got ganked about 10 times. Sent a little SOS to the guild and in about 5min had about 12 guildies helping me out and as you said, all the ganking was well over a hour... great fun!

The invasions are fantastic fun! You will be riding round minding your business then next thing you know the whole zone is going potty
I was riding in a group of 30 zerging everything which server are the guild on? Don't particularly want to re-roll but can imagine this being even more fun in a guild.
My rift/assas/ blade spec is insane for killing things

i think the reason they have chosen a PvP server is because you can still do PvE, yes you may get ganked and yes it may annoy a lot of people but it give you the option of doing that aswell which tbh is quite funhaha! PvE your limited to where you can attack, PvP servers imo give the best of both worlds
But it is annoying mate. anyways i may role a mage in your server

Servers are starting to trickle back on so I think I will pop across. My other character is Guardian so its not as if I will be rehashing the same content over again.
Whats your win/loss warfront ratio generally? I only done 6 on my guardian but won 5 of them, was rather nice

It looked like older servers were being held back but about 5 mins after the first lot were open the rest came on.

I don't think Trion are offering trail accounts at the moment, but I should have it installed and updated on my XPS 15" in the next day or so, so I can let you know how my laptop plays it
