Never had a problem with static tbh :)

And i work with static problems all day at work ;)
 
Got my XFX today - I feel like I have to say a thank you to OcUK for the service - OK so I ordered at 7:11 AM Wednesday and it didn't come next day, but from looking at a Tuesday delivery to a delivery today, either OcUK got lucky or moved mountains to get these cards in for their paying customers.

I ordered loads of bits last week (Thursday) and a website stock error meant they weren't shipped that day - but a quick phone call sorted everything and I was upgraded to Saturday DPD delivery (I didn't even pay for shipping in the first place!!!).

Too many people only post about bad experiences and not good ones too, in my opinion OcUK have come on leaps and bounds in the last couple of years with service, definitely one of the best to deal with now.

I compltely agree, best example being a couple of weeks ago a built a computer for my parents, last minute order at 4:59 and i still got everything next day, even when the small print says pre 4:30 for next day.
lately i've seen a lot of bad review about ocuk, but i couldn't be happier.

Anybody reckon there will be any difference in FPS between 1 gig and 2 gig versions?

already got a 1gb sapphire on the way but i'm wondering if the 2gb makes any difference? or is it for more than 3 screens or something?
 
what happens when you use crossifre? is it right that only 1 card gets memory used? so if you have 2 1gb cards only 1gb is getting used between both? i thought thats what i heard before.

Yeah you're right. Both VRAM modules are used at the same time if you know what I mean?
 
When you use crossfire, you only get one card's effective memory; as both cards hold a duplicate of all the data they're going to need, so they dont get slowed down having to swap data between the two cards.
 
That's what I was trying to say just couldn't find the words, thanks alex. :p The bandwidth is doubled though is it not?
