Just installed my Asus 5870 and I must say I'm very impressed.
Just tried a couple of games, DW2 and Sacred 2 and they both play very well. Noise is very good with it being quieter than a GTX 280 but slightly noiser than a GTX 260. The card idles about 5 watts more than a 260 which again for the class of card is impressive.
No inductor/cap squeal which is a first for any of my previous ATI cards.
Highly recommended. The 5850 will be a cracker!

dx11 only for win7. vista won't have it.
Vista will have Dx11.

vista will have directX11. its comming in a patch. around the time windows 7 comes out (i think) but its defo comming in a patch/service pack

yummy...that card looks so damn good!! i think im gonna buy a 5870 next week....unless i hear of the 5870x2 comming this month 
why was reviews & sites was saying only win7 will have it.

The Gigabyte one, I can warrant the slight extra in cost for the additional year warranty and the piece of mind of never having to attempt a Sapphire RMA again in my life, If only BFG were a red company
