Can you please change the required players to start the game on BF3 server please? 8 is a lot at quiet times, how about 4?

Now let's concentrate on the servers now, making sure all the settings are sorted, and that the servers are full. :D
 
I'm having lots of fun on the Minecraft server, just been mining and found some gold blocks. Would it be possible to add an economy mod to the server (currency, shops ect)?
 
Slightly off topic...

Regarding the Steam OcUK community group, is there a possibility that we could post announcements regarding events, such as "Serious Sam 3, co-op event, 9pm tomorrow".

I appreciate this could be abused but would make it easy for peeps to arrange events instead of spamming the forum.
 
Thanks. Personally, I dont get the "rage" towards the pop ups the last time it was discussed.

Am going to suggest an "Events" sub forum. Maybe a good idea, might not. Will see what people say.

I found them a bit much but I agree that the rage seemed a bit OTT. I just don't want a repeat of the events that happened last time :p

Sounds good re an events forum though I'm not sure how much it would get used. Worth a try though :)

Feel free to contact me for one-offs like I suggested, too.

Like any server, they need someone from the community to 'champion' them - to drum up support and to administrate them.

5UB and the other OcUK staff and mods don't have time to do this as they already have lots of work in terms of their jobs at OcUK and/or managing the forum. This is why they requested that people volunteer for admin positions for the servers.
 
Unfortunately, with bf3 specifically, hosting servers has become so cheap these days that there are just too many :( We've been struggling to a degree with our mst servers for our new community on bf3.
