I'm having lots of fun on the Minecraft server, just been mining and found some gold blocks. Would it be possible to add an economy mod to the server (currency, shops ect)?

Regarding the Steam OcUK community group, is there a possibility that we could post announcements regarding events, such as "Serious Sam 3, co-op event, 9pm tomorrow".
I appreciate this could be abused but would make it easy for peeps to arrange events instead of spamming the forum.

Thanks. Personally, I dont get the "rage" towards the pop ups the last time it was discussed.

I found them a bit much but I agree that the rage seemed a bit OTT. I just don't want a repeat of the events that happened last time
Sounds good re an events forum though I'm not sure how much it would get used. Worth a try though

Like any server, they need someone from the community to 'champion' them - to drum up support and to administrate them.
5UB and the other OcUK staff and mods don't have time to do this as they already have lots of work in terms of their jobs at OcUK and/or managing the forum. This is why they requested that people volunteer for admin positions for the servers.

Unfortunately, with bf3 specifically, hosting servers has become so cheap these days that there are just too many
