Log-In and laugh my ass off at all the people in chat whining about people getting in on promotions like they are some kind of special entitled flowers.

@j_smedley I used a Nvidia key on my veteran account that wasn't supposed to give instant beta access but did. Am I screwed? Ban incoming?

@kawaiiestpie no we won't ban people. those keys were given out ahead of the time they were supposed to be. Luckily not many were given out

Unfortunately Nvidia handed out some instant-in beta keys earlier than planned. We aren't ready for more people just now but that's life.
 
I tried the game (thanks to that geforce key), and as expected my old machine (2ghz c2d, 2gb ram and hd6850) can't play it. Was worth a shot at least.

Try changing to render distance 900 as shown in my previous post and then setting graphics to low, this still looks great and should give good frames.
 
As for faction, I was all hyped up to play as NC but after a while playing the game, the death music is so freaking annoying and depressing, have changed over to TR the music and guns are much better.

I gave changing it to 750 a try, a little improvement but still not close to 'playable'. I don't expect any amount of tweaking or optimizing will help my old system. Hopefully some time next year I'll be able to afford something new and start killing some vanu/terran scum then :)

To be honest mate, your card can handle it and the CPU is decent as well, if you bought another 4gb of RAM I reckon you would be running well enough.

The former. They've basically decided that the NDA doesn't apply to them for various reasons.

Certain individuals among them have also laughed at other players for acting entitled. And called people who choose to respect the NDA (or even dare to report them) kids.

I can't be the only one to see the irony there.
 
ok ive got a nvidia code, twitter and im a PS1 vet on 3 accounts, cant believe the only one active is the damn nvidia code, doesnt seem fair to PS1 vets
 
Hi,

I got an Nvidia code and installed the game. I can choose my faction but then when it says choose server they are all locked and I can't choose any?
 
I assume we can no longer get nvidia codes? :(.

Where on the website does it say we can get a key? I've looked all over it but don't see it anywhere!

I'm a 7 year vet with an active sub, plus a beta key and still haven't got in :(.

I'm dying to play!!!

I got my key from planetside universe as I was just having a quick look for anymore info :D

I think all the key are gone now as it was mistake to give the keys out.
But anyone who got a key is safe to play beta like the ps1 subs.
 
Has anyone got a spare key from the Nvidia promotion??

I must have refreshed that page over 100 times last night. Could see the form but then it would tell me that the offer was over :(

If you have an active sub and you haven't got in contact SoE support as you should be in now. Few people have had the issue and got sorted by contacting support.
