Yes and no. There is a separate server that handles outfit information.

Like a news feed of outfit player achievements etc to be implemented. Also you can link up squads into a platoon, but the ability to set way points for the squads isn't in yet.

Like has been said before, this game is still in it's infancy, don't treat it like a finished game waiting to be polished.

Unlike Eve, they can't really make a tutorial mission etc.
 
This game is going to need a miracle to save it, seriously. It's just a mess. I think they should just start over, would be easier considering how many bugs there are. The only time I stick up for this game is when I am not playing it, then I load it up and remember that it is bloody boring, repetitive, unbalanced, ridiculously unoptimised (20fps on a 7950), crashes everytime the game gets good I swear there is someone in SOE offices pressing a switch to crash people when it starts to get fun.

Just really bad at the moment, not to mention Terran Republic Liberator spam. They aren't doing enough, quickly enough in this beta and it's putting a lot of people off. But hey, there's another wave of players on Friday YAY....not.

There's at least 3-4 months until release (guessing - no release date has been confirmed yet) so there's plenty of time - this is a proper beta not just a server stress test a few weeks before launch like most 'beta' tests are.

ITs not great at the moment cos as always people exploit the loop holes to get the most out of a game.

Lib is OP + AA is pointless waste of time = Insane amount of bombers right now with not many predators to kill them off. a Lib can fire 8 shells on target of which it takes 4 near hits to kill a fully repaired MBT... Utter BS right now.

Air Cav. = People are just starting to earn AGMs/ Rocket pods... Its a complete joke to rub it your face with AC130 Libs now you are beginning to be rocket pod spammed :)
(this wasn't a real problem in PS1 believe it or not.) People are also earning AA Missiles but use them for faster kills on small aircraft........ not stopping the Lib spam.

Combine this with the kill whores already. Hot Dropping?instant action onto Bases then camping in spawn rooms, vehicle creation pads. Totally cheesy noob places to get a free kill or 3 before being killed.. Is that fun!?!!? Really ??? ok good for you....

Anti Air ineffectiveness will be fixed soon... and probably be over nerfed and seesaw for the rest of testing.

Instant actioning is there to get players to areas to fight during beta, it will be heavily nerfed on the timer eventually.

At the present tho it feels like a Very large game of BF3 with the worst of MW2/3 added on top for no reason.


look past these frustrations and imho there is the beginings of a very epic game coming. It wont have the same impact as PS1 - but it will be a very good free game..

While its easy to chat about its still under NDA and in-depth discussion should be on the beta forums, not on OcUK. You'll find answers and not just negativity there

They're 8 hours ahead of us, 5pm there is 1am Saturday morning here.

Although he did say 'by' 5pm so I would think accounts will be flagged throughout the day, hate to think how many (tens/hundreds of?) thousands of people have used a PC gamer key in the US and UK.

I've only played the game once. The requirements are 1000 posts, 1 year OcUK forum membership & 10+ trust. First one to reply gets it.

What a ridiculous post. This is what happens when the flood gates are opened to beta "testers". You get idiotic reactions such as this commentating on the game as if it was the release build.

Instead of the over dramatic qqing just stop playing the game. Would be best for everyone I think.
