*** Official Planetside 2 Thread ***

OK now I have run into another problem :(.

I have managed to create account on Planetside2.eu website and confirmed the email. Now I when I try to play it via steam, it asks me account details. Afterwards it gives me error message saying that 'invalid username or password' :confused:

Btw is there any difference between username and station name lol
 
OK I have figured out the problem of account registeration and I am really ****ed about it :mad:

After downloading the game in steam, if I register my account for the first time when playing the game it sends me to SOE Account registeration. This account doesn't have united kingdom in the country list.

Alternative is to register on Planetside2.eu which is linked to Proseiben Account registeration and contains united kingdom in the country list.

However both the SOE and Proseiben don't seem to recognise each other.

Proseiben has username and password for input details while SOE uses station name and station password which is used by the game lol.

What can I do? :(

Proseiben (or Pro7) are SOE's partners in the EU - anyone who was not in the beta has to use a Pro7 account. Much like in DCUO. Anyone who was in the beta and therefore already has a station account are able to keep these for the release, with the option of migrating over at a later date.

You log into the launcher with either your station name or user name, but these are not used in-game, you have to create a character for which you can choose any name you wish.
 
Got home really early, only getting online now. Trying Woodman as the que is a lot better, about 700 better. VS!

This is what I am trying to do but game isn't recognising my account details and gives me error message saying invalid name or password
 
Do you need to download the proseiben version?

EDIT: 10min queue not too bad for 2nd day of release, means it'll be busy once the inital rush dies down

Hmm, really don't know whats going on with mine... still crashes with the same Phsyx error, and every time I verify local cache it finds files that need replacing.

Seems like it :(

I gather the PS2 on steam is using SOE version of game launcher? :(

I am gonna have to download the whole game again? :(
 
Either its insanely laggy or my aim just sucks cause I can't seem to hit the broadside of a barn while everyone else seems to be taking me out in a few shots :p
