Personally I wouldn't have a problem with VS max's flying. It was a very cool PS1 feature. The dev's still have to determine what feature they are having for the VS MAX though, as they have already said they are not making flying MAX's. (Of course that may change).
 
Which server were you playing on? I play on Woodman as TR and, indeed, the VS controlled a large amount of territory by the end - roughly 60%. Although, looking at the population proportion figures - you can see why you won. :o

To be fair we already controlled around 45% when the alert started. NC were no where to be seen throughout the whole thing, I only came up against TR.
 
VS bizarrely seem to do extremely well on these events, we (NC) just seem to struggle massively to hold onto territory.

The NC on Miller are really full of stupid players, even before the Alerts happened when TR was almost breaking the VS's lock the NC would screw things up by not attacking North and instead attack deep into TR when they could easy had helped.

This has happened a few times now and now with the Alerts added, it's only got worst, last night NC had took all of the North right up too the VS Warpgate while a lot of TR was on Amerish and Esamair so we and a lot of TR outfits decided to switch to Indar and finish it off, we was doing pretty well, we had Mao Tech Plant then a Alert happened for Esamair. 60% NC on Indar dropped to 26% which allowed the VS to retake everything they had lost.

The SC refund happened and people logged in to find they have 1000's of certs, I know a few in my Outfit had 13k amount of certs and some had 6000 which allowed them to max out a lot of things. I honestly don't think this was a fair thing to do, there are now BR1's with more certs I have earned in my 19 days of playing who have maxed out vehicles and characters and on top of that there are some players who didn't even buy anything with SC and got certs. Higby has said there won't be a rollback and he believes this sort of refund will not happen again.

So we find out today that the NC Max shield will disable weapons and only works at the front, sounds fair.

On a more personal note, I was thinking of buying the Racing Frame for my Mossy but after testing it in VR it only adds 13kph at level 3 at level flight.

These are the scenes from last night when TR captured Esamair during an Alert, we did it in a hour.

Soon as the Victory graphic came up, everyone in the Warpgate started to fire in the air for about a minute and throwing Flash grenades none stop while spamming taunts. lol

We have highly organised/experienced outfits on Miller. I am regularly part of their ops as I am in ISK and they are really good at leading, teamwork etc we do very well for our population. If VS on Miller were nearly 40% like TR then Miller would be a VS triple lock 24/7.

You need to understand that most of the decent NC outfits on Miller are sick of Indar to the point that we hardly play there. Sure when the TR were boasting about their early morning cap there was some effort to remove it but most of the time people prefer Esamir or Amerish because Indar is always the same, start taking things, somone takes the blackhole of farming (Crown/TI alloys) and all the retards flock to the farming spot leaving you short of manpower.

Some of us have been playing that map since beta started last august, it's just boring now has many flaws, too many stupid bases and needs changing. We do have organization between outfits via the NCTO (our version of TRAM), but as I said if it comes down to it we mostly choose somewhere other than Indar unless we have some special goal to achieve.

Also all factions have silly randoms or outfits who do what you described, for example whilst we were trying to remove the TR's lock on Indar the other week the VS kept trying to cut us off at our warpgate so we went back to take that and the TR pushed out on the east of the map.

Re Certs: Yeah well I think they messed up somewhere but at the end of the day having more certs doesn't really mean much other than having more options, it's not like they can suddenly start owning just because they have more guns. I can still kill those people just fine so I'm not too bothered and frankly if they did mess up with the cert granting I don't exactly want them taking certs away and then messing up there by taking certs that shouldn't be.

Max: Personally if the Max cannot fire when the shield is active then it should be like PS1 where the shield was a bubble around the max providing 360 degree protection. If it's just a frontal shield then frankly I doubt people will use it as charge will just be more useful as you'll be able to attack or retreat with it.

TR max in Burster mode sounds stupidly op, throw in the Vanu ability and the NC have the worst burster max.... to go with the worst tank and esf in many peoples opinion. But then vehicles need help, adding stuff like the Striker and this Max ability won't help, we need more tanks and aircraft not more AA or AV.
 
I don't understand the thinking behind the TR max either, when you're doing anti air you're usually in a safe place anyway, there's sod all downside and they'll just rip up aircraft.

Well, the TR lock-down mode is from PS1 just like the Shield for the NC, but I don't understand why they didn't want to give the VS Max it's flying power, I wouldn't have a problem with it, they are both trademarks of each faction.

I'm looking forward to the Lock-down mode for my AA Max, it's gonna be awesome and likely very OP'ed, but what can you do about it.

Yeah, for least 30 seconds my screen was nothing but white at one point even blocking out the green tags with concussion grenades added as well. xD

I'm TR, why would I complain about it but that doesn't mean I don't think it's gonna be really OP'ed.

I have extended mags for my Brusters which allows me 48 rounds per weapon before reloading and this is going to increase my firerate, projectile speed and reloading speed. VS also get a damage increase/defence lowered for their VS Max, so they gonna tear apart air just as good.

Guess when the VS max is ripping your mossie apart in seconds you won't be complaining at all though eh?

If it does get added then so be it, they'll adjust things and we'll just have to live with it. As I keep saying though, they need to be helping vehicles a bit now not improving methods to eliminate them, I'm seeing less and less vehicles especially from VS and NC as it is.

Just have to adapt how we play against them, since their defence is lowered, a quick rocket pod run using cover should work well if they are in the open or with little cover.

I do agree that vehicles need some buffs now, there has been no updates to them for months.
 
Shotties are so going to ruin this game. Until they are nerfed for all factions I can't see me/us playing much more.

Unbalanced & OP'd to hell and a game breaker.
