will the playstation 4 players be on the sme servers as the pc players? that should boost numbers if it happens

They won't be sharing the same servers. The console scrubs will have their own server but don't worry if you not sure what you want to play since the PC version is being dumb-down for console players so it's all going to be the same crap.

I remember piddling about on it in the practice server.

Also how do I play this now? My account was with that German company ProSiebben or seomthing, but I got an email saying that they aer going bust and I have to transfer my stiff to sony.

Well i didnt transfer it before the deadline and I havent a clue how to play anymore :D

Also I had a duplicate account on the Sony servers, sort of... will I be wiped.

Yup.

Totally different from the other continents. Excellent base design - take a lok at the dam in the center of the map. Even the default "construction site" bases are good to fight over.

The fog makes sniping difficult (I'm mainly a sniper) but it means you don't get random headshotted from halfway across the continent and the terrain is pretty extreme (again,. meaning you don't get one shotted by a tank from half way across the map) - makes galaxy drops viable and the the forest gives you some cover from the air (but also gives the air cover from ground based AA).

I really like Hossin - and now they've got three great continets - wide open Esamir, great for massed tank battles (but you must have air cover), Amerish for combined ops, wide spaces for tank battles with good pinch points and Hossin for great claustrophobic infantry fights.

They should scrap the Indar "test" continent now imho and replace it with a new continent.

Details of how to transfer are in the emails.

If you didn't get that far with your character, just login to your SOE account and download PS2 again and create a new char.

Yeah - the game went through beta and some way into live with just Indar as the only continent. It's where they basically tested the base designs and what the engine could do - that's why we call it a test continent. The other three continents - Esamir, Amerish and now Hossin - are all much better than Indar. TBH Indar has served it's purpose and should now be removed from the game - it's quality is nowhere near the other three conts and just lets the game down imho.
 
As much as I hate to say it, I prefer Indar to Hossin.
Sure, the base design on Hossin is more varied, etc... but at least on Indar you can see what the hell is going on the majority of the time.
 
I like Indar, there are many bases that I like to fight in or around. My favourites are Snake Ravine where I can fire HE at almost everything inside the base and that doens't always mean sitting next to the Ammo Tower. :D

Also driving around the Bio Lab next to it and that entire area is great for Wraith Flashes, love shotgunning people or furying them to death as I drive off while pressing my lol horn. :p
 
Not sure if my outfit 252nd [252v] are involved if so I've been quite active of late so may see if I can join in.

Everyone always needs a decent medic so If its ok to join in ill see the rest of my Miller brothers there.
 
I'm considering starting to play this, is there any outfit you recommend? Is there a group of guys from here or something playing together?
