Obviously it depends what you enjoy. I would say it can be fun to play alone, but you will get so much more from being in an outfit that you should at least try it out. At the end of the day it is free to play so download it and have a go.

There is an outfit recruitment section within the game, there are also recruitment forums for each server on the official forums here: https://forums.station.sony.com/ps2/index.php?categories/outfit-recruiting.43/

Some outfits also run open squads you can join so perhaps try those and see what you find?

There isn't an ocuk outfit so we're all spread across outfits, servers and factions so let us know your name, server and faction and maybe someone here can give you a hand.
 
There's a ton of stuff you can do on your own too. Supporting the zerg as an engineer or medic is great for cert points, but stuff like the wraith flash above, or my personal favourite, tank/sundie hunting with a c4 equipped light assault, can be huge fun too.

i5 DC 4690K
8GB DDR3 (whatever was cheapest, team group black?)
ATI HD 6870 something 1GB

I'll let you know what it's like when it's installed.
 
You can get a free NS-11P rifle for the medic using redeem code "SummerReward". Nice gun, saved me 1000 certs.

Im having a horrible time trying to get PS2 to run on my system ultra low fps. Its the only game that does it everything else like ARMA 3 run fine fully maxed out. But PS2 wont run even with the lowest settings, the next setting down would be turning off the monitor....

CPU - AMD A10 7850K OC to 4.2 (bad choice in hindsight although this has evolved from a htpc to main rig)

GPU - dual R9 270's (MSI Gaming)

Cruial Elite 2400mhz memory 8GB.


is this just due to the poor performance of the A10 Cpu side? I dont really want to change the mother board and cpu due to cost. I looked at changing to a normal FM2+ CPU but the best was a 760k which performs worse than the 7850K
 
I'd probably link it to the CPU, I remember a while back on the official forums, people switching from AMD to Intel CPU's seeing a large increase in performance.

Patricles low
flora off

All these should help with a cpu bottleneck.

Press alt+f

does it say cpu or gpu in the bottom left corner when you get low fps?
 
Just realised I've been losing unlocks from a load of my weapons, mostly the rail slot. Stuff I'd unlocked months ago is gone. Submitted a ticket, fingers crossed :(

They changed rail slot attachments and refunded any certs you'd spent on them basically all attachments that had a second tier e.g. advanced laser sight, advanced forward grip were condensed into one so you just spend 200 certs and get the advanced version and cannot use the normal version.

That's not right, is your CPU hitting thermal limits and throttling? Could it be your overclock isn't stable?

Can you post a screenshot of your settings? Are you using anything like game boosters etc.?
 
Yeah, I remember re-buying all the laser sight attachments, that was weeks ago. They've all gone again, and I'm pretty sure that's exactly what any support drone is going to tell me - they were changed and your certs refunded :(

Did not realise this. Thanks. Just added several more unlocks for all my other characters :)
