Well then you must be a much better pilot than most, 95% of the reavers I see aren't exactly what you'd call good pilots. See plenty who are totally one-tracked into shooting down a lib they fail to notice the enemy aircraft that's just flew in front of their nose and is currently flying 50ft behind them :p

Scythe pilots, now I've seen a few tricky little buggers in them :D those things are hard to keep behind if the pilot is any good. Most NC pilots just dump flares and use their aferburner bug to outrun the rockets :rolleyes:
 
They may of changed the flare timer recently but they used to be 1 minute..

I also agree on the damage and time to kill. I mean 3 shots with a tank is excessive.. They even post the time to kill on the forums. Even headshots with most guns are 3 to 4 kills
 
If you signed up to the site I suspect it will be a long time before you probably see a key. I would have thought once you'd of signed up to the site they would have done a wave of invites, say a few thousand every few weeks.

I ended up getting one off twitter but you can always try the IGN promo on Friday if they still have any left by then.

Does anyone else have a problem with the NC vanguard and turning? I find I have to almost stop the tank for it to turn..?

Planetside 2 beta keys are like gold dust currently its quite doubtful you will get one from here. I would recommend checking IGN out on friday since regular members will be getting planetside 2 keys then. Apart from that twitter, facebook,reddit and any of the popular streams normally have people giving out keys.
 
Appears to have been a small update today, not sure what yet but people are mentioning beefing the AA up which IMO is much needed. AA seems to be pretty much useless against enemy air at the moment. In fact i think id be better off throwing bananas.

Launch pad has changed too and now has a section for update notes etc

I soooo badly want to get into this beta :(

Game looks sooooo good. Getting annoyed with BF 3 and I need a new multiplayer game now! :p

Is there anywhere else I can get a key that doesn't require me to have a facebook or/and twitter account and not the scam on IGN? :p
 
You still get shields I believe with the bandolier, but the basic version, which isn't as powerful iirc, but the extra grenades are more than worth it for LA. I wouldn't drop the shield for more nades on any other class though.

You register then click the beta key link tomorrow and it should send you one. If you click the beta key link now it sends you to a subscription page.
