SOE ****ed up again. NC are 73% of Esamir continent, so they didn't bother putting population caps on empires as promised.
Unless you are NC, there is no point going to Esamir as you can't even leave your Warpgate. SOE really are a bunch of idiots.

I know it's a beta, I've been in it since the tect test. Doesn't change the fact they promised a pop cap, it's right there in the freaking patch notes yet here we are with 73% NC bombarding everyone at the Warpgate making it absolutely pointless playing the game.
Wow really? The very definition of a game beta means that promised features may not work, that is the point in testing this stuff...

All the NC are on Esamir, all the VS are on Indar, TR have pointlessly tried to split between both.. couldn't be anymore boring for everyone involved. WTB 35-40% pop limits

As well as getting the population caps working they really need to link the resources across both maps to give incentive to leave and fight on the map your faction are losing on.
As it stands you only gain resources from the map you are currently on, so naturally the factions head to whichever map they are winning and end up losing the other map harder.

Sleepless there are massive problems with resource distribution, mainly catalysts, you gain control of those and the steamrolling begins... atm whoever starts in the bottom left corner of Indar can't lose, they only need to take the catalyst bases in the northwest once and then they can't be stopped. There are no supply lines, just a terrible system that doesn't work
