C:\Users\Public\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\PlanetSide 2

Try deleting useroptions.ini

Update to latest Cat 12.11

Have you rebooted since that second pic you showed? I had something similar last night after it crashed on me and only thing that solved it was a reboot.

How is the game running on your rigs? Is it playable? lol

Very much so, I never had much of an issue with it apart from early beta, but on this release build the fps is a lot better than the last days of beta.

Log out and in again to get your weapon if it does that, probably an idea to put in a support ticket to SoE for a refund on building it twice as well.

I'll try and log in again after work through steam but I bet it won't work. I'll just wait till next Thursday until I get fibre installed.

Worst launch I've ever witnessed and this is coming from a big BF fan lol

horrible game avoid

Awesome game, after playing into the early hours last night I'm excited about getting back from work to carry on the fight!

The numbers last night made the beta seem like a ghost town, it really brought all 3 continents to life with huge battles raging across all of them.

Playing as an engineer or medic is still one of the best ways to gets easy certs to begin with. After your empire captures a base simply running round repairing all the turrets netted me 3 battle ranks. As a medic assaulting a bio lab I was able to grab another 2 battle ranks through reviving and healing people. It's also really satisfying seeing your contribution turn the tide of a battle as your team doesn't need to run in from a remote spawn after dying or has enough ammo to fire off a few more rockets at the tank column.

had worse guess you don't play too many mmos :(

plus i'm kind of used to SOE being rubbish on launch night, you really think they would have learned something by now

I think it would take time getting into this game especially for those who have never played such game before.

This time last year I had the same feeling about Battlefield 3 where I didn't enjoyed it at all especially as I was playing CS Source before it. Most of the time in Bf3 multiplayer I didn't know what was happening and kept getting killed.

However one year on and I am enjoying BF3 and my game has tremendously improved:cool:. I think the main factor is familiarity with the game.

Planetside 2 will also be my first such game (MMOFPS) and sure it will take me time getting into this game and becoming familiar with the gameplay style. But overall I can see myself enjoying this game in the longer run :)
