They aren't single player expectations. I played Dark Age of Camelot for 11 years which is a massive MMO. I've played Warhammer Online and GW2 as well, also large MMOs. Good graphics and gameplay.

If you seriously think Planetside 2 looks good then you have very low expectations IMHO.

Well clearly thats subjective ,there are a lot of people who disagree with you. Regardless, nobody has to make excuses for your attention span this is one game you wont be able to enjoy so the only person to lose out is you.

Every persons view is subjective. No-one has a right to tell me that I'm wrong, just that they disagree.

There's nothing wrong with my attention span, so keep the rude comments to yourself thanks.

You were implying that people have to make excuses to you to justify the game, this isnt the case.

My comment about your attention span wan't rude there was no implied detriment or judgement, you used the phrase yourself.

You've taken this all rather personally, my comment was aimed more at the people who played for 5 minutes and made a gameplay judgement, you seem to have seen yourself among them.

Yup played all those. Again you are in error comparing them. In PS2 you have an open world FPS which can be flown over as well as ballistics modelling. Thats a lot different than running around clicking actions. The only comparable MMO on such a scale is wwiiol and obviously, PS1. I played those as well.

Besides, I think its your computer. Graphics look very good on mine, and it seems, a lot of other people on this thread. Time for an upgrade?
 
The fact is that anyone hoping to get any immediate reward out of this game is going to be completely disappointed, you get what you put into this game. Find yourself an outfit and work together to take objectives and your going to have one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences ever. Don't and you may well have one of the worst.

Basically don't even bother downloading if your not going to put the effort in.

Effort? Engineer and AMS on the sunderer then sit back and watch the certs roll in :p First thing i did was unlock the AMS, it made getting some basic unlocks so much easier and the game became much more enjoyable pretty quickly. Originally i did it to get the x12 scope on the infiltrator as i thought that's what i wanted to play but turns out being in the thick of things is much more fun in this game.

Awesome game is awesome if you put some effort in and hunt down a squad that's using teamwork. Once I get a bit more experienced I'm going to start leading some quality squad play myself, I haven't been able to do that in a game since bf2.
 
Is anyone using an xbox controller for flight? If so would you mind posting how you have the bindings set up? Trying to do mine just now but can't seem to get them right and keep running out of credits to spawn vehicles from crashing them lol. Too used to games auto configuring the controller.
 
Just to let you guys know there is currently a x2 promotion on when you buy Station cash. You basically get double the amount SC for the money, so $10 buys you 2000 SC not 1000SC. It runs today till 12.00pm PST. That means it stops tomorrow morning (Saturday) at 8.00am GMT. Its not well promoted, and it seems not many people know about it.

ooo nice find! very tempting offer already spent £8 when it was triple station cash offer a while back might do the same amount again get some lovely camo's and maybe pimp a liberator out :D
