has anyone lose noticed this in front of names, its on the player select screen, in the game, its before any txt from what i can tell

its looks like this ##UI

i have tried fixing it with steam, but nothings changed

Change the language to something else then back to English
 
It's beautiful!

I'd love to see the engine used in regular mmo. It really is spectacular sometimes, especially the sense of scale, everything seems to the right size for the great outdoors.

You just don't get much time to admire it in Planetside, what with all the aggressive behaviour :)

SOE are using it for the next Everquest game so I guess you'll get your wish :)
 
I love how the Scythe is the only ESF in the game where it is extremely difficult to do barrel roll and fly backwards maneuver.
I also love how the Mossie has the most splash damage on its rockets

Must be really hard to press some buttons on a keyboard and mouse.

This guy is having such a hard time doing that:

The splash damage was naffed for all Rocket Pods weapons.

Sure we are the fastest, what's the problem, should we be all equal? If so, I would welcome that, let's all use the same weapons as each other then the game be in prefect balanced.

Our rockets do less damage then Vanu and NC's. So we have more.

TR has the highest pop? That's changes all the time and I play a lot, it's pretty balanced.
 
I play NC on cobalt and it is really starting to suck. There is a 500+ Vanu outfit on the server and they just roll everything. Neither NC or TR but especially NC is organized to do anything about it. I swear NC players on cobalt must have to fail an IQ test to join up.

Does anybody know a good NC outfit on some other EU server to join when that option becomes available?
 
Cobalt. Highest pop is Vanu (and generally is all the time).

I wouldn't say TR is doing too bad, but NC is sucking by far. I play NC too, add me 'BaneBrah'. If you're not in an outfit the one i'm in is pretty good when we get going but there isn't always a lot of us online.
 
Had some really good kills with my Flash today and it's Grenade Launcher, sneaked up on some guys and was pounding them for a minute and getting a few kills before they noticed where I was.

It's weird, the Grenade Launcher on the Sund is a load of crap, but on the Flash it's awesome, always get kills with it.

Today's rant is am getting fed up crashing my Mos into the ground or hitting a "leaf" on a tree. I love flying low and fast, but every so often, it just loves to start the landing process and just flips you over and boom.

A lot of people believe that planting AT mines under sunderers shouldn't do anything. I'm not yet sure which side of the fence to come down on, I use AT mines a lot on chokepoints to destroy tanks, I tend not to waste them on deployed sunderers, my decimator tends to make short work of them.

As a sunderer driver myself, i tend to take the opinion if they can get under the tank in the first place then technically they deserve to be in a position to kill it.

I know what they believe - but they're wrong. The broken thing here is the mentality of those sunderer drivers who think they can go wherever they please and setup a spawn point for their entire factions population on that continent often right within the base they intend to take. That's the suicidal behaviour, not the engineer who goes running in to deal with it.

What, taking advantage of a clearly untended use of a weapon is right?

I can see it now, the Devs sitting at the table thinking of what equipment, vehicles and weapons to include in the game and one of them has the bright idea that lets add mines and allow them to blow up none moving vehicles by COD banzai rushing players instead of using mines like what you and I vision them to be used as.

Have no problem if it was C4.

Enjoy your cheap kills because it's going to be naffed soon or later just like everything else.
