Yeah, you still get the radar when it's parked, as long as you're in range and it's your vehicle (that's my understanding of it anyway). So blow the flash before you go charging in ;)

If you kill someone who has been alive a while or has a good killstreak going you get more xp. I think what's happened is that, after the big patch, the game's dynamic has changed and now all of the fighting appears to be on Indar around the Crown and Crossroads Watchtower areas. Subsequently I've not been playing much in areas that award infantry resources, although we did push a little towards Ti-Alloys last night. There's a massive stalemate there though.

TBH, this patch has made the game much more repetitive than it was before as all of the fighting is going on in the same area of the same continent all the time. I haven't seen a decent fight on either of the other two continents since the patch, although this is partly I think that there's less players because so many are peeved off at the awful performance of the game.

The rendering in heavy fights, especially around the Crown, is what killed the game for me.
 
I just played this for a bit and have no idea what I'm doing apart from running around killing the odd person I see, Any quick start guides or anyone I can join on TS or something to learn with?
 
Logged in today for the first time in a week, game is still stuttering every 1.5 seconds. Are the developers really this incompetent? Chucked nearly 80 quid into this game, BIGGEST mistake I have ever made.

I play on Miller so can't really help with specific suggestions on outfits for you but on my server at least some outfits run open squads and use the in game voice or invite the randoms onto ts/mumble to try things out, perhaps see if there is anything similar?

Alternatively look in your server's outfit recruitment forum and see if you can find an outfit that looks good for you. Although if you're a low battlerank e.g. less than 10 you could look at other servers too I suppose as a good outfit you'll be happy with is worth the time to level back up the initial couple of ranks imo.

Thanks for the tips.

I had a decent game in a random squad yesterday evening who were using voice chat, which is the first time i've noticed it. So, I guess patience in finding decent people to play with is in order.
 
Yeah, think I will invest in the Scout Radar, but not sure when. I have 300 certs so far. Really undecided what I want to put them into.

I fly 70% of the time, so really should get faster reloads for my Mossy, my Porwler/Lightning could really do with it and lastly my Flash needs it's final preformance upgrade.

I'm tempted to buy C4 for my Heavy, is two C4 enough to kill a Sundy?

By the way, am totally loving the shotgun, it's a beast close up but you run out of ammo so fast, you have like 26 rounds. :/
 
New rendering settings on Connery and Miller servers, indar only I think.

Tried it out, pretty awesome been able to people at TI now from the crown lol and the hill by crossroads from crown.

Only problem now is everyone is playing sniper lolol. Get ready for some crying.

You mean they've changed the settings only on those two servers?

Are they testing it out on them before they switch it to the others, assuming it works?

It's stopped for me too as far as I can tell. Going to log a ticket if it doesn't sort itself (didn't see anything about it in patch notes, so I'm assuming it's a bug).
