You had to do certain things in all of the games in the Potato Sack. The countdown is the overclock which makes the remaining bars go up faster.

Not properly.

I thought I had less time to get potatoes than we actually did (pre-countdown). Fortunately I'm not fussed enough by achievements, I've just reset my save.

There's not enough motivation in the world to get me to bang my head against that wall again. I like the game, it was very enjoyable but getting to level 4 for the potato nearly drove me insane (particularly the one with the poo monster). When I saw the second one required 20 bandages I packed it in.

Let me guess you used the save to unlock like 400+ cogs? and then when you completed a level it gave you all the achi's?

Ok that makes me feel better

I had about 230 stars before the event. Upped that number to around 750 now. Some of those puzzles are damn hard.

Me and my mates had a drinking game whereby if we died in super meat boy, we would take a shot. It was safe to say we got plastered.

Haha, that was pre-drink as well, we then hit town afterwards.

SuperMeatBoy is forgiving, you might not think, but you cant get grudged over dieing, thats why they made it almost instant spawning so you could not even compensate that you have died.

I was definitely able to appreciate the instant revive as at one point I thought, if they had even used just a "you died (again)" splash screen between deaths I would have made a screen shaped hole in my wall by now.

Perhaps I should do as the instructions said at the beginning and get a game pad. I've been meaning to get one for ages anyway.

I've been playing it with my PS2 pad, works pretty well to be honest.

Going to invest in a 360 pad soon
