For all you new PS3 owners check out the PS3 faq there's a link to the official OCUK PSN ID thread Post in there and you're name will get added. Also feel free to add anyone of the list. Remember though there is a 50 limit on the PSN ID. Im normally playing COD4 after 10 PM and before 11.30 AM.

Had some great games with my mates last night, gawwd i annoyed some people with knife + flashbang combo :D Will start adding you guys in a mo!


Ninja edit: Can we not see stats of our friend list when people are offline? Bit irritating that

I'm using the Jabra bt500, very confirtable and had no issues with it :)
 
Anyone got reccomendations for a cheapy headset? Im getting bored with playing in silence, not half as annoying as how long it takes to get people together for a game sometimes tho :p
 
MeAnBoY: im in the same boat, seems like a lot of people are using/recommeding Jabra sets especially the BT500 which GTCole/itsallbroken is using.

A couple of quick questions about COD4 MP, as so far all i've done is join a random server and get killed repeatedly.

1) How do I add freinds, do they have to be playing the game?

2) After you kill 3 opponents it says something about the radar but I missed what it said, + it's only happened once and probably won't again for a very very long time. Any ideas on what it says, or does, etc?


If anyone can answer my questions it would be much appreciated, cheers

1) You can send out invites only to friends who are currently playing COD4 online, works out ok Ino and I had a few games like this last week.

2) When you get a 3 kill streak you have the ability to call in a UAV to sweep the battlefield showing the current postions of the Enemy. You can do this at any time even after you have died, this is done by pressing the right D pad button ( you also get 10 points lol), with a 5 kill streak you can call in an air strike and 7 you get the chance to call in a helicopter gunship. TBH if you get the airstrike and get cover you normally get at least two more kills so giving you the heli support.

Dont worry bout getting killed lol you will a lot at first as you will have limited weapons and perks at your disposel, and as theres no rank serach you will probably be against people at a far higher level.
 
Hmmm, I picked this up yesterday, and it seems to take an aaaaage to find a game... Anyone else suffering this problem?

More to the point, any OcUKers up for it? :D

should take less than 30secs, sometimes can take a minute, you picked a busy weekend what with the double Xp points, been playing all weekend and gone from Lv31 to Lv 43 so certainly able to get a few games , lol
 
Lol, don't know if was some kind of glitch woth PSN but every single time
I was between rounds I got a game invite from ElliotMuellr (a PSN friend I assumed was from here). It got slightly annoying after 5 hours!

Surely it must have been a glitch as I doubt this Elliot guy is that desperate to play with me! It was literally every single round whilst waiting in the lobby.

Worth the hassles to get on though - I think I finally got bored at lvl 33, but I'll be back on tonight to make the most of the last day.

Who's for getting some CoD4 games arranged? I'm still a lowly rank 35 and its not good enough :p
 
I've been sharing a profile with my 10 year old brother becuase i just can't be arsed to make my own :p

I only get to play every other weekend and every wednesday (Parents are divorced) so level 43 is pretty good for 2 weeks going i reckon ;)

I'll find out my psn id in a minute and add it to the list.

I am still Rank 7 and have trouble finding any good games to match make into, as I only have 4 gametypes unlocked.

I am up for games all next week.

Wicked, well I will be playing it every night after 7, if nobody's about I might put Assassin's Creed on, so if I'm playing AC just send me a message and I'll quit for CoD4.
