Pleased with the result against Salford, although the gap should have been wider, Danny Tickle seemed really off form today, missing conversions and a drop goal attempt he would have normally nailed.

Also, Widnes really need some bigger players, you could see they were really struggling to bring down the likes of Junior S'au and Hock. With the exception of Phil Joseph, the rest of the squad are pretty small blokes. Darest I say, we could probably do with getting Hock back.

Maybe its because he is an ex black and white, but Tickle drives me up the wall because he takes an ETERNITY to take kicks, even if they are right in front of the sticks. I don't pay for a ticket just to watch him throw grass in the air, pontificate, throw some more grass, walk around a bit, pontificate.....ZZZZZZZ....drives me mad.

Well, playing for Widnes, he stil is a black & white I suppose :D

Yeah, it's rather embarrassing when he goes through all that, and then misses three in a row. As a result, Widnes had to score three tries to go level with Salford at half time, whereas they should have been six points up.

Widnes had to work harder than they should have, but it's still nice to throw a spanner in Koukash's attempt to buy the league. Just a shame we weren't allowed to play the Dr Who theme again at full time. He didn't like that last time... :D

Leeds got done yesterday, ultimately Wigan just wanted it more and were more up for it. Lot of Leeds injuries but can't be used as an excuse I don't think.

Thaler as a ref has no bottle, there were several of those yellows that should have easily been reds (shot to the head, Bateman's 3 punches to the head, spear tackle). Could have influenced the game but hey-ho. Wane did a job on McDonut.

I was at the Etihad yesterday and forgot to record it, does anyone know if there's anyway I can watch it now? Checked on demand on Sky and it's not on there. :(

Pretty good day out yesterday :)

The RFL disciplinary website should make interesting reading tomorrow.

The Green injury looks like it could be quite serious. I heard that if its a tear to the bicep its 4-6 weeks if its a rupture its 4-6 months. If he's off to the NRL that could be the last time we see him. Time for Ryan Hampshire to step up.

Didn't realise that there were rumours of him leaving.

No further action from the disciplinary following the Leeds/Wigan game (I have to say I'm pleased but surprised). Crosby was cautioned for the dangerous tackle. The next meeting between these two won't be for the faint hearted :)

We all tut and roll our eyes when this happens - but who doesn't like a bit of biff?

Or a bit of fan goading....

Hahaha love it. There was some clown pie eater who thought it'd be a good idea to stand on his chair and goade the entire Leeds fans who were chanting. He got loads of **** thrown at him haha.

He was filming himself and seemed to be proud of the fact that he's riled everyone. Knob I say.

Regulation win for Rovers today. I can't see London winning a game this season, poor poor poor. Keeps us 4 points clear of FC and puts us back in the 8 above Catalans. Some unsurprising scorelines this week.
