2 games for Sir Kevin? Seems about right for me, taking into account his previous and the use of the EGP for one game. No conspiracies here. Move along.

What's people's thoughts on the top 8? In no particular order, I'd go for:

Saints
Wire
Wigan
Leeds
Hudersfield
Cas
Salford (squeezing out HKR)
Catalan

You seem to have misspelt Widnes with an S, a, l, f, o, r, and d :p

Top 8 would be great. Wembley would be better

Anyone seen the Dr's tweets last night? He wasn't holding back on ripping Our Dear Leader a new one. Too right to be honest. Needs to be said more often until they pull their finger out.

Squeezing out? We were never in! :p

I think Widnes will hold onto that last spot.

Not sure about that. It's going to be difficult! If we can win 3 of the remaining games that should be enough but I think we will only win 2 of them. Could all come down to the last game of the season against Salford...

Or, it could all come down to the game on Sunday! My folks are coming over so we are all going. Looking forwards to it and it is most certainly our game of the season.

Can't have been as bad as Leeds' performance on Friday night. My god, worst performance in years.

The thing is, I'm not just saying we were bad because we lost, we genuinely were abject today, errors, penalties, threw the ball into touch more times than I can remember, last tackle kicks were abysmal and to top it off, the only player that came out of the contest with any sort of self respect was Chan, who isn't actually a Rovers player.

FFS, just wrote a massive long post about the game and lost it. Meh.

TL;DR - Leeds were honestly dire, rested squad, but should still have beaten Bradford. Fair play to them for the win, deserved it for their enthusiasm alone. Looking forward to next week @ Saints!

/sore head. :(

Good day out yesterday. I drove so was on 'catch-up' when we got back into Leeds, never bodes well.

Thought Wire defended well for the first 30mins, and were the better side in the last 20. Need to watch it back on TV today. Looking forward to the other semi too, Cas for a day! Leeds v Cas final at Wembley would be insane, already got my ticket booked so going regardless.

Should be a great weekend. I don't think I could take a defeat to Cas, tho!

Were you there today Landy? What happened after the game? Heard it kicked off.

Some of the Widnes "fans" (about 60 out of the 6k) decided to run on to the pitch at the end. Some of those then decided to start kicking signage, and took the Cas mascot's head and kicked it down the field.

It's a shame really. I was waiting to give the team a few choice words or maybe a boo at the complete lack of strategy (probably should be aimed at Betts) but they had to head in due to the idiots. BBC had apparently been talking about how good the fans were then it all kicked off.

Getting frustrated at the team is one thing, but then venting it via those methods is another.

Yeah, it's a shame. Saw a video on the Tube of some of it. Sad that a set of clowns can give the real fans a bad name. As for the game, I lost interest after the first ten mins after Cas' first 2 tries, was pretty much all one way traffic.

Couldn't really say it any better than this tbh apart from i made a small correction to your original comment ;)

The "Widnes fans" involved were moronic idiots who have single handedly ruined Widnes recruitment for next year, plus everybody is tarring the proper Widnes fans, the ones who for that second half were amazing, with the same brush.

Anyway, i digress, Wembley in two week, Cas end nearly sold out, should be bloody awesome.

12k attendence, half each sounds about right at 6k.

Who can really be bothered to make the trip to Wembely anyway? I'd much rather watch the player's posting photos of being on a beach back in Oz... :(
