Been massively out the loop on RL lately as have been on holiday. Looking forwards to te game tonight and the GF! Going to be a good ending, if not for a Rovers fan, in any way!
Interesting seeing Travis Burns off to Saints. Not sure about that one from a Saints point of view. His mentality can be questionable and heated and far too many games for us he went missing this season. For as much as he was brilliant, he was also very ordinary. Glad we got some money for the deal, but we desperately need a new spine of the team, given we have lost our, 1, 6, 7 and 9! Yikes!

I also remember some annoying, drunk woman CONSTANTLY shouting to Lockyer "I love you Darren", "Go Locky"....it was grating everybody in the stand.
Until, a bloke got so ****ed off that he started mimicking her with "I love you too Darren", "He loves me more than you".....soon shut her up!

Looking forwards to it! My money is on Saints, based purely upon the fact that they have had so many go's at trying to win it, they've got to win it sooner or later and why not now!

Disgraceful from Ben Flower. After just two minutes!!! Hope Saints win it now because I don't want to see Flower get a winners medal for that. Also, Charnleys haircut offends me.

Deserved win for Saints and you could easily argue that Flower cost Wigan tonight.
Yeah it was pretty bad. Couldn't really see what happened from my seat but briefly caught the punch on the floor on the big screen. He'll be banned for plenty of games.
Saints just about won it, but they didn't have to do anything more. Congrats to them. 4 months of off-season will drag on.

If he didn't get arrested after the game then that's a joke, I'm all for Rugby being a bit rough at times but that was brutal, the guy was out cold and he landed a punch right to the head.

You'd be arresting players after every game if you judged things on a rugby pitch vs. things on a street.

What? So you're allowed to punch someone when they're out cold and get away with it because it's a game of rugby. I'm well aware that it happens but not always to that extent. Open your eyes a bit
The first punch was at least defendable. The second very much wasn't. I'm pretty sure all that will come of this is a lengthy ban. If Travis Burns got 12 games then I'd expect this to be similar.
On another note, I thought Roby getting motm award was completely wrong and based entirely on his reputation and past performances. Sky (for once) were dead right, Sia Soliola was superb and should picked up the award.

Yeah Saints were not convincing throughout and just about scraped the win but never looked comfortable. This is probably down to the impressive fitness levels of the Wigan side and you could probably argue that they would have won the game if not down to 12. I also think Saints suffered massively losing Hohaia. They also missed Walsh and Lomax. Will be interesting to see where Hohaia will play next year, if at all, with the arrival of Burns.
It was a weird one last night, Wigan looked the better side but Saints deserved the win, if you get what I mean?
He won't get away with anything. He'll be banned from playing for a long period, and he'll have to live with the fact he cost his club a grand final for the rest of his career which will affect him in all sorts of ways.
