Official Saints Row 2 Thread

SR2 will be miles better than GTA4 this year. A game that has humour which GTA4 seriously failed on. GTA4 has gone abit to serious in what it wants to do, whilst SR2 will be fun in what it wants to do

Aye shame it will be overlooked by the media and gamers.
 
As with the original (although more so now) GTA4 and SR2 will both be great games (hopefully in the latter case) but will be very different, each will make enjoyable experiences, GTA4 for the immersive world and good story. SR2 for the amount of options and sheer over the top colorful carnage.
 
people say it will be better than gtaiv, but in all honesty id rather have GTAIV when the graphics look like ****
 
yeah but even the graphics on 360 ain't all that great either in places, along with the popup and to be fair the game isn't fun in the slightest, no replay value whatsoever, something that all other GTA's are well know for. Saints Row was great, GTA4 borrowed some of the aspects of Saints Row but none of the humour, and now SR2 will sink GTA4 into oblivion with its fun and varied activities.

No replay value whatsoever? Despite the fact you have many choices in the game which change the story you experience quite a lot? Its got more replay value than previous GTA games if anything.

Thats like saying Dead Rising has no replay value - you're missing a lot if you've only completed it once. :S

Trailer was excellent, some old faces and great looking cutscenes. So glad Johnny is back :D

Glad they've got all the voice actors back as well.
 
Awesome, Johnny is looking buff, Kieth David is back.

Story looks like its going to be interesting, about 500 times more interesting than GTA 4 story was.
 
I really enjoyed SR1, one the better games i played at the time. SR2 just looks awesome, the story looks a lot better this time and the combat just looks mental. Multiplayer should be a lot of fun throwing ppl through windows :D.
 
Im really looking forward to this, seeing as GTA4 let me down completely. I think i've done like 16% of the game and haven't touched it in over a month, can't bear to get on it, just doesn't have the grip that all the other GTA's had over me.

I really liked the first SR and i think this will be better than GTA4 in what im wanting.
