I have a feeling Rafa is very focussed on the league this year, we won't be seeing too many players being rested in league games to be fresh for the Champions League. As a result I think we'll have a very strong league run, I doubt we'll win it but we could be well in contention right up to the last few weeks.

You honestly think that Stoke, West Brom, and Fulham won't be in the bottom five?

Newcastle will achieve mid table mediocrity same as West Ham but they'll both go through sketchy patches.

This summer has been awful, i was happy to see Southgate shift a lot of deadwood, then nothing happened, then i was excited to see the two signings we made, then nothing happened, now Young is going which is a massive mistake and Southgate has an awful lot to do in the next week to build my confidence back up and regain some respect. Right now i'd be happy with our place of 13, last week i would have said 10, if things dont change it could be 16.

Suprise package will be West Ham or Newcastle in the sense they will have poor seasons and finish no higher than 13th. Two of the final three mentioned for relegation will stay up on the last day

We were quite lucky with injuries last year, I have a feeling we won't be so lucky this year which could leave us exposed in places. Up front is my main concern here, I'd be a whole lot happier if we brought in another striker.

I really want to say Chelsea here, but I'm not about to tip them to do the double :p. I'll go with Barca.

Bolton (I think they were **** enough last year for it to be a surprise if they're decent this time around). West Brom to narrowly avoid the drop again.

Youngsters have looked very good pre season if eduardo comes back anywhere near as good as before his injury and if van persie can remain injury free then we have a very strong strikeforce. I'd like to see a CM signed either Barry or Alonso but i dont think thats going to happen.

Spurs will be a surprise this year, will start the campaign well until an injury to Bent, Woodgate or King then they will struggle with no strength in depth

West Brom will narrowly avoid relegation
 
Here's my predictions for this coming season.

Bristol Rovers : a completely unspectacular season. Will finish bottom half of division, but avoid relegation again

Liverpool : A worrying potential to finish top 2 though I will go with the safe bet of 3rd. No silverware though.

Prediction

Utd scrape a reasonable 1st month with average performances due to injuries/illness - win over Liverpool diluted by the hammering by Chelsea (performance wise not scoreline) - but eventually win EPL by 2 points

I think Arsenal will be better than last season even without Hleb and Flamini. With a fit Rosicky and RvP we'll be challenging right to the end. Would love a proper DM to come in though, i'd be happy with our squad if we did that.

I think it will be another English team, in a head to head between any English side and the top Euro sides i can't see the English ones losing.

Maybe its because they don't add anything constructive and just post their team and what league they play in
 
Your Team's Predictions
Arsenal: I'm not very optimistic. Pre-season we've looked poor, and we've lost two quality players and haven't replaced them. Flamini was a quality midfielder and more effort should have been taken to keep him. Hleb was vital to our passing game and approach play, and without him it's not half as fluent and a lot of the time our players look a little clueless. The options to partner Cesc in midfield are not good enough full-time and Gallas and Toure is a poor partnership.
