You should be able to change volume with your tv remote?Well my beam has arrived a d I have it set up just in time for the Chelsea v utd game
A remote would have been nice and waving my ipad around to get the sound right was abit of a faff. But so far loving it. Will **** it on some films and music later on.
You should be able to change volume with your tv remote?
And yep setting up true play is quite fun felt a bit silly
Yeah I got the remote working the volume. Although it’s does go up and down fairly slowly. Using the app on my iPad is a lot quicker.
I did notice a ever so slight lip sync issue when watching a film on apple 4K . I’ll have to check all stuff now to see it’s just that movie / all apple films or it’s happening with panny ub900 as well.
That's true it does climb slowly I am still on Optical as HDMI ARC didn't work, can't figure out why did your set up go smoothly?
Watched a movie last night, Gatsby, lots of music etc throughout and I found the system to be fantastic for that. Plenty of bass for our needs too
I did I have a Samsung KS7000. it should be fine surely but I just can't get it to go, the beam couldn't even detect that it was a Samsung something has to be wrong somewhere but I think it's mostly for the alexa tv control stuff which I wouldn't use anyway I doubt but still, want it to work!Took me 3 attempts to set up true play.....I wasn’t waving to around enough lol. Not tried anything yet to see about the sync issue. Did you setup the connection on tv for arc ? What tv do you have ?
@CK61938 Ahhh sonos have thought of that. When I first got my playbase my cat liked to sit on it and I once ended up on max volume before I could get there.
If you go into the app, you can disable the buttons. I never use the buttons on my playbase anyway. So now when he jumps up there's not a shock to be had.
My dot will play Spotify on my Play 5 so I don't see why not.Does anyone know if you can control spotify on a Sonos one without Alexa built in but via an echo dot?
Yes, airplay to the airplay-supporting speaker then group with the older speakers. Works great for me, I only have a couple Play 5s but many other zones with the older bits!Am I reading right that if I AirPlay something to the Sonos One, it can play it across the Play 1’s throughout the house as well? If so then that’s perfect
