Official Spider-Man 2 (PS5) Thread - 30fps, 40fps, 60fps, 120fps! (*Spoilers Inside*)

I was thinking that earlier. ND also maybe Rockstar…Insomniac are just up there aren’t they.
Yep. They are better than rockstar though, because they reveal, and then follow up with an actual release.

We haven’t seen anything from R* since rdr2 …

Think I'm going to wait for a patch before playing some more. Having issues when fighting mobs the AI is not kicking in and they just stand still and ignore I am there, fighting some of Kraven's thugs one got stuck in the water and could not defeat him  I am sure it will be patched.

Some studios like RS and ND just take too long. It's not like I want a new GTA game or Uncharted, LoU yearly but when it's bordering on a decade I do have to ask questions.

Not had any of that. Unlucky.
Same. Not had any major bugs, seen a few minor things like subtitles out of sequence and camera view obscured by scenery. Which is unusual for Insomniac ... their last few games have been flawless. So probably have been under some pressure to get the game released for Q4 2023.

Worst bug I’ve seen so far was Harry’s foot being a few inches off the pedal when cycling.

Been flawless so far, but not perfect. It doesn’t quite have the same polish as the first but i can’t put my finger on it. Lip movement seems a bit worse than last games, but it might be my memory failing.

Anyway after a few hours I’m loving it on 60fps. Running through the intro sequences on 40 felt like a transformers movie in places

I’ve come across the subtitles not being synced but nothing apart that in about 4 hours.

I did see a post on Reddit about visual bugs caused by film grain, some people were saying they had issues when the game wasn’t installed on the system SSD as well.

Not had any game breaking bugs yet. A few minor ones is all I have noticed.

It does feel a bit Deja Vu it’s great and I’m enjoying it but it feels a little bit too familiar at times.

Im only a couple of hours in so I’m sure there is much more to offer and will likely change my opinion.

I’ve had a bit of the subtitles being out of sync and one enemy on the boat climbing over a fence that not longer existed. Nothing game breaking though.

Really enjoying this. No bugs so far that I’ve noticed. The subtitles slightly out of sync doesn’t really count I guess

Loving some of the new suits. The shadow spider suit for Miles, with the blue and black accents is awesome.

Unlocked fast travel in about 4 districts now. No matter which district you skip to the loading time is identical, really impressive.

I've noticed the subtitles issue a few times, but no big deal. Apart from that no bugs, but I'm still very early in the game, in terms of main missions.

Bought a couple of suits and then realised I should really save the Tech parts for suit upgrades instead (extra health, speed etc). Can get the suits later. The web swinging seems really fast to me already, can't imagine what it will be like after the upgrades in the tech trees.

Pretty buggy, wonder why they released it in this state. Had a handful of full on crashes, characters falling through the floor, subtitles being out of timing, getting stuck on the environment.
