I am having mixed feelings, sometimes I am having a blast and sometimes I just die all of the sudden from god knows where...I will play some more to see, maybe I am just too noob
I've got nearly 300 hours and I still die a lot lol. K/Ds mean nothing. You can be top scorer being a good medic and not killing anyone, but even that's not the point. Sure not every game is magic but when you and your squad successfully defend an objective against the odds, or breach a compound in a sea of smoke and grenades . . that's when this game is awesome. For me anyway.
Not a fan, gave it a good go over 10 hours but can't say it was enjoyable, very little game time during those 10 hours.
Having long runtimes to objective is fine, having a long spawn time is also fine - having both is just ridiculous. I appreciate the type of game it's aiming to be but having so much downtime is extremely dull.
For a game called squad, they also make it next to impossible to be in a squad with your mates, it takes me back 15/16 odd years since the last time I had trouble getting into the same server as people I wanted to play with.
So many bugs, I spent 40 minutes carefully moving into a flank position, finally it paid off, being behind 10 or so people with none of them having a clue on my location, i start unloading and nothing - bullets were hitting the ground below me despite significant clearance. I'm then killed.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, that's not entirely true.
For example:
My positioning, weapon choice and situational awareness all combined to allow me to get that number of kills. Granted, high kills alone won't win a battle. But when those high kills are denying the enemy access to a key area of the battlefield, they become a lot more valuable. It's not all about team score either. You could sit back, miles from the front line and build yourself a nice little FOB, raking in points. Those points aren't what win you the game though.
For the record, that was all infantry combat too.
Is this ever going to come out of alpha or it will be day z all over again ?
