***Official Squad Thread***

medic is good fun when you get used to it, it's a nice to way to get used to the comms aspect of it as well as people talk to you and you have to talk back. Just make sure you stick with the squad and don't take point, medics should always hold back ready to sweep up the carnage :D
 
theres way too many of us noobs playing this now lol every squad I join is terrible :( in my last game we came under fire and 5 people died,i said using proximity chat "anyone see where that came from" and some guy on my team said yeah from here and shot me!

I still really love this game and I'm a noob myself but some people are just way beyond noob lol

oh I also got my first game crash,it said fatal error or something then game just closed.
 
I too get a fatal error message sometimes, just as I was in a decent squad and was finally understanding on what was going on :D.

Defiantly picking it up for 15 quid, having much fun, reminds me of old BF1942 days in a way. Finding the more experienced players very friendly and helpful too.

I am struggling to actually see the enemy though. Fair enough I only have a 760 so everything is on low except view distance but it still has a blurry look to it, any key tips to optimize performance and view ability? (dont say buy a 1080 :p)
 
lol I'm not really sure what you can do as things are a tad blurry to me as well,i have most things maxed but some things off as I'm only running a i3 with 970,i get reasonable frames how I have it with it mostly staying between 50/70fps :)

I love the game and have also bought it :) I bought it after playing for an hr haha as when you get in a good squad nothing comes close imo..but..when you get in a bad squad its a different story lol
 
Plenty of decent servers around to be honest with you. Don't shy away from overseas servers either - I've experienced some of the best team play so far on American servers.
 
Just played my first few rounds on the RIP server above, had an absolute blast running around as a medic trying to keep people alive.

What a great game this is :)

How do I get my Squad Leader backer rewards btw? Not sure what I do to claim them
