Why are so many games staying in Alpha stages now a days? It seems like the new trend or something - Like the PC gaming world of equivalent of Hipsters, Vegans and transgender people!

lets be honest, squad is just tagged as a beta but really its MORE polished then a lot of AAA titles!Yes and no I don't

Squad I have put 117 hours into - More than any other game in my Steam library and maybe ever. I would (and did) happily pay £30 for it.
Games have bugs all the time and are patched, why not just release it then patch after like other games
Maybe developers of Squad can offer a better reason for keeping it in Alpha. It does feel like I am getting more for my money when new maps and features are developed - Something with Battlefield 2 I had to pay for - Special Forces

Nothing that a add on dlc can't do heheMore armour like tanks and I really can't wait until we get helicopters.
