I've never had performance that bad even when running a single 5870.

Was trying to play with Sacriel and some other streamers tonight and came to the conclusion they are all complete idiots.
 
Finally got my commander package, I've no need for pre or even alpha game as I doubt my laptop will run it since it barely does PR but I figure I'd invest in the developers who after all put a lot of work into Project Reality and no doubt will put even more work into this.

Holler if you anyone is interested in the second pre alpha key.

Well the Kickstarter is over gents. We raised $434,805 CAD of our $184,000 CAD goal so many, many thanks to those who supported us!

We are very very proud.. and very happy.. we have seen a bunch of this genre games fail in Kickstarter.. and we didn't want to be another one..

Thanks to everyone.. for proving our hard work was not misplaced.

I'm sure there will be an official announcement pretty soon regarding the Kickstarter so watch this space.

If it's still going until mid next week then guess we'll be seeing the keys after that which is what I heard during the Twitch marathon. Can't remember who signed on when he did the Q&A but he mentioned that after Kickstarter we're looking at 1-2 week for pre alpha, 3-4 weeks for alpha and September for early access on Steam.

Seems rather ambitious but I suppose they will now have the resources from the campaign at their disposal and people working part time on the project can quit their day jobs and hire extra help as needed. That and of course reality of this now being a paid product vs a mod means they'll want to get it to early access and selling on Steam as soon as possible to ensure development is on time and up to the standard they want.

Minimum of 6 maps. Maybe up to 9. Some small maps for specific game play.

Confirmed game modes: AAS and Insurgency

Potential game modes: one super fob vs another, maybe vehicle warfare.

We can now do Insurgents vs Militia, etc.

Weather (is a possibility)

No night, dusk/dawn for sure. (Reason: Gamma cheaters)

Can someone take someone else's kit? We don't know yet. Possible picking up regular guns, but no specialization.

Gun customization (Possible)

Skinning weapons? No.

Ballistics do exist (Bullets, rockets, HE). Does not get affected by windage.

Suppressors? No.

Nothing is locked for someone to unlock. (This game is not COD/BF3)

Updates/Content patches? We have a solid design document. Ticking boxes as we go. (Coders should be asked this question.)

Weapon stances, resting weapons, multiple stances? No solid answer, but there will be "weapon resting".

Back blasts? Yes.
 
Used to love dropping off players from the little bird on BF PR. I hope they don’t limit the maps too small. I’m not talking Arma size but a decent size would be nice. I have always hated Maps that simply are so small its just a kill fest. Build up some tension.

While Muttrah city Map may not fit into dev's ideal map for squad and team work - Boy was that some map the fun I had on that one was insane. Maybe come at it for a squad clearing out an insurant element that has infested the city and docks. It even had a castle for god's sake!
