OK - taken the plunge.
Standard edition ordered from Amazon - they haven't let me down yet.

Collector's Edition - Looks all nice, but sorry, no....not at that price.

£1000 for a video game?? Theres some crazy crazy people out there :D
 
Just pre-ordered myself the standard edition from Amazon. Usualy I wouldn't be opposed to paying a bit extra for the CE, after all I did for SWG, but for what you get it simply isn't worth the price they are asking. My only concern is the sort of items that the CE exclusive ingame store will get, if they get access to equipment that gives them an advantage, either faster leveling, better armour/weapons then that will be just a stupid step for them to take. If its just a few different items that just change how you look, and have no impact on gameplay then I don't mind.

It works out $194 = +-£120.

Save yourself £20 quid? really that worth it?

Hehehe, its a lot of money for any video game ! Its just a computer game after all , its not like its a grand spent on a car or towards a deposit on a home or anything :D

Hell, I wouldnt even pay £1000 for UO2 or Daoc2 ! (and we know those would be the best two MMOs in history :) )
 
Ocuk Guild is in order i think, we already have a thread on it. So get joining, were still voting on what servers and side etc.

Make sure to pick dark side and an rp server (rp servers have less kiddies)
