Well I take the 1 million Origin thing with a pinch of salt as if that was the case they had sold out by 08:02 this am ... and I doubt it's marketing hype tbh I think it's more the companies are messing up as this is a new thing for them and for the Hero engine system. lets face it ****** have just added 5 quid onto the standard version.

You can rest assured that if people want to buy it, they will happily sell it. Making it seem short in supply is a standard method of 'encouraging' people to decide to press the purchase button.
Well they feked that up didnt they...Glad I bought on Game then!
Just read that and not sure if its right.... early access depends on when you redeem your pre order code! So if we only getting ours next Thursday(from game) that’s means the ones who redeemed their code today and until next Thursday will have access before us??

Unless of course a person plays it for 2 days and decides its rubbish and doesnt play the remaining 28 days in which case it hasnt been pretty good value for money. Though to be fair the same could be said of any title

Pleased I ordered mine a little earleir this morning.
Its incredible really, considering the messiah like hype around the game you wouldnt think they would need to be encouraging people to buy it at all !
(better encouragement I suspect would be to sell the box at £5.99 , I bet that would really make people decide to press the purchase button

Pre-ordered the DDE version direct from EA. £60 is steep... but when you consider the standard edition is £40 it's not too bad.

Oh relax. I pre-ordered it for € 35 from cdwow.ie. Doubt very much it'll arrive on release day, but I'll be amazed if it's playable for any length of time on the day it goes live anyway.
