Meh, I can wait. I'd rather the patched servers work, than fall over on their arses as soon as they get filled.

One thing I'm hoping to do is remove the Security Key from my account.

After not saving the activation code, so that I can install the App on my iPad2 (got the app on my iPhone still) I'm a bit goosed if I ever lose my phone or the app gets deleted by accident.
Some of the horror stories of taking hours to get the key removed are a joke. It's virtually the same process to get your account back (by sending ID proof) if it gets stolen as it is to remove the security key if lost.

Royal pain in the ass tbh.

I am not sure, it was still a new company venturing into the MMO market though and albeit not a hugely massive game they did things properly pretty much from the get go.

EA have been involved in many projects and should know by now, so to say they are new is stupid. Yes Bioware are doing the game, but EA should have given their knowledge to help out.

I thought the whole point was to do maintenance at like 4am so if anything goes wrong it may only spill into late morning/give them time to fix.

In europe its half 6, good way to turn players away.
