erm... im confused... why have you so fleetingly switched allegiance?

Gimp has always had a soft spot for the blues. You can't blame him. They won the league this year. Think I'll support them next year myself. Unless Utd win the league in which case i'll go back to them.

If Arsenal win the league i'll definately support them mind you:D

Well Man City are now going for 'Plan B' which involves Dzeko,Aguero and Silva instead of Torres, Gerrard and Ibrahimovic. Now i think 'Plan B' is better?

Other than Torres, who is awesome but a crock, and Dzeko, who I don't know much about, I agree. Gerrard and Ibrahimovic are on a downward slope.

Gotta agree about Joe Cole not really being worth over £100k a week for 4 years, especially if he gets a few long term injuries in that time, he's not getting younger!

I've always thought that Cole would be excellent in an Arsenal shirt. If Arsenal can afford his wages I think it'd be an excellent move, he'd also fit in well if his injuries continue.

Jermaine Beckford has signed for Everton on a 4 year deal.

Wonder if he has a cushion for the bench as part of the contract :p

Nah, wish him all the best really been great for Leeds and massively important this season with the FA Cup goals and the winner in final game to send us up. Hope he takes his chance with both hands when he does get some first team action.

Er, you can't see the 'IF Arsenal can afford his wages' bit? One post is about how much he's worth and the other is about his quality as a player, just in case you didn't understand.

Obviously Arsenal won't pay the 120k he wants, but if they come to an agreement of around 80-90k then he'd be a good deal.

I'd rather you didn't quote me again anyhow, I'll do the same!

Mourinho taken over at Real Madrid...good coup for Real as he will be the one to bring them success in the La Liga and possibly the CL...has already said that no one in the team is bigger than the team ie the egos need to be deflated and im certain he will do just that:p.

Looking forward to seeing Barca and Real play next season.

It'll be the same as any Mourinho vs good team game we've seen in the past. Real will defend and then try to counter attack. Boring, but effective. He won't last long at Real anyway, probably win everything in the next 2 years and then leave

Joe Cole is a decent player when he's fit but I don't think he's what we need. We should be looking at world class to replace Fabregas when he eventually goes which I'm still adamant won't be this summer. Gourcuff is supposed to be very good and he's French as well although probably has a big price tag, depends wether Wenger will ever loosen those purse strings a bit.

No one ever lasts long at Real:p

I dont like his brand of football, defending then countering...i find it boring but it works as you said. I hope he fails miserably at Real so that smug grin on his face disappears:D

I guess it depends on what you mean by World class - if you mean up and coming talent who havent quite made it yet but more than likely will, then yes Arsenal can attract them, I have doubts though about Arsenal and Arsene attracting people who are already at the top of their game, the club just hasnt been successful enough recently to be able to do this.

Youth prospects or senior players who havent yet caught the eye in the wider scheme of things are the targets Arsenal have to aspire to until they start winning (and Im not being disrespectful - Utd have to go shopping in the free transfers hahaha)

Yeah, I suppose in that post by World Class I meant up and coming that has a very high chance of "making it". Gourcuff is currently playing for France in the position that used to be Zidane's so make of that what you will. He's been good for Bordeaux from what I've seen and read as well. Not sure if Bordeaux would be keen to do business with us after we took Chamakh from them but then that's their fault, they could have gained much more if they agreed a deal with us last summer. Sooner or later though Wenger will have to use some of the new found wealth and invest a substantial amount on individual players, I admire his ethics and him as a manager as much as any Arsenal fan but there's only so long you can watch him making cut price moves for youngsters without getting a bit frustrated.

It weeds out the eedjuts, the hardcore MU fans that have been on here for 12 months who think they know everything.

Mr G is a role model for G|mp you see, it's taken him a while to admit it publicly but this is a good first step - you should ask to see his tattoos.

Indeed. :p
