5.1GHz:

Damn you wazza haha... 2s faster! I couldn't get 5.2 stable, even with RIDICULOUS volts so I'm not comfortable pushing for that.

Edit// couldn't get my box stable at 5GHz to run fritz mate, way too many volts needed!

I think I used 1.47v for 5.1ghz,you might be using too much voltage?

AMD is not going to beat Intel on superpi single core app. As far as I know, it never has.

AMD piledriver is good and comparable at the longer benchmarks which use more than four cores.

It's quite an old run back when my phenom II was happy running at 3.8, I'm very surprised to see that it takes the same length of time as an FX8350 at 4.9. The fritz result is a little bit more like i was expecting.

I need around that to get 4.8 stable Prime95 so I think your chips a bit better than mine. I didn't use fixed vcore just offset, and it BSOD'd halfway through the fritz test at +0.200 (LLC Extreme/highest settings) & I couldn't even get past the login screen for 5.2Ghz +v0.270 offset.

If you need 1.47 for 5.1 I'd be watercooling and running 5GHz 24/7 !

its too much voltage for me,i just run 4.6ghz 24/7 now with 1.28v and 63c max in ibt max stress,

Yeah me too mate, I've settled to 4.7Ghz 247 @ v1.37. I need too much even to hit 4.75ghz.

Anything over 1.4v is too much imo,ive seen a user kill his 3770k by using 1.9v over on another forum

haha, yeah its keeps bsod 0x124 had this problem with my last chip but i couldn't get that 1 over 4.6ghz

@illuz my score of 8:05 is at stock + 4 bins oc which =~ 4.2ghz not 4.4

Just done a run with my i5 760, air cooled with a cheap Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro 7 Rev 2.

i5 760 22x200 - 4,400mhz v1.47
2x4GB - 800Mhz 9.9.9.27.128.1T
Gigabyte H55M-UD2H

Still got good performance from socket 1156
