**Official THIEF-Incorporating AMD™ Mantle™/True Audio™/Bench mark Thread**

THIEF is AMD's™ first Gaming Evolved™ title bringing is AMD's™ TrueAudio™, hopefully with a better tweaked Mantle™ giving us improved Mantle™ implementation, along with AMD's™ baptism of immersive 3D positional audio that us gamers truly deserve.

Use these settings:

Post a full size 1080p screen image of your result(with spoiler tags)-resized won't count.

Mantle entries, there is no way yet to take a screenshot direct from the game when running Mantle, if you can, alt+tab and use print screen to grab a shot(it works for some), if you can't, take a pic.

When posting, please submit your scores stating GPU Model/Clock Speed/CPU/Clock Speed/DX11 or Mantle like so -

Actually, matt uses both, gregorio is a sucker for blonds, so when matt meets up with gregorio for sugah baby time, it's blond all the way to keep gregorio sweet as.

Rusty on the other hand prefers dark hair, matt can't show any favouritism so has to make the effort for both.

I can't reveal who's the car and the petrol pump attendant in both scenarios, I had to sign an NDA. :eek:

That's a hard choice, all I can say is I have experience with hardware accelerated spacial sound on an XFi Fatality back in the day on BF2, Stalker games and it IS incredible.

I am a Thief fan too and this is the perfect showcase title if TA can nail the sound, it's going to be epic.

Lots of tight closed spaces, I would not be surprised if it bounces off a 200fps frame rate limiter on a high-end 2 card rig.

Good news for people playing through the TV with a lower-end HTPC box though.

Interesting to see what Mantle can bring to THIEF(if anything) as a 290X should smash UE3 unless it has had heavy modification a la SD.
