SHOTS FIRED!!
For those of you that have played it, what is the audio like? Is it the type of in game sound that has been done well? And do you think it will be much better with better positional audio?
The audio is poor to be honest. It has it's good bits but overall I would rate it poor. For example at the start of the game you are in a guys room, he is drunk and asleep and there is noise coming from an open window. The noise sounds like there is a bustling market and a party going on outside. When you get out the windows and climb onto the conveniently placed beam/walkway and look down, there are a handful of people standing about.
My first thought was where is the market and the party.(
Post a full size 1080p screen image of your result(with spoiler tags)-resized won't count.

AMD 290X@1175/1475, [email protected] fps
UE3 modified but still not demanding.
3D is completely broken in this at present. It does look like it would suit 3D as well, so if they fix it soon, I may well give it a play.
It is a good looking game but still a disappointment for "next gen". We really need some Unreal Engine 4 games to start coming out. What is the first game to use UE4?
TrueAudio going to be unreal mark my word.
Them 290s been mining for months ... finally decided to put them to gaming use as the 280s are more cost effective Thief still feels a touch choppy with this rig on max settings @ 1600p so looking forward to what mantle brings ...
290X@1040/1300(stock Tri-X bios), [email protected] 75.8fps
I'm on a 120hz monitor, Vsync should cap to 120 FPS
Greyed out, I also can't see a none TA option.
I'm going to take a guess and say print screen.
Yeah give use feedback mate, try 2.0 with nothing added from your Headset software. and TA enabled and then again with 7.1 enabled.
MPC: So a person could keep their existing discrete X-Fi/Xonar/Recon for the superior DACs/ADC, and switch off their effects to use TrueAudio but then switch them back for games that use OpenAL or don’t support TrueAudio?
AMD: That’s 100 percent correct. We designed AMD TrueAudio in the manner that we did precisely because we know users have great audio hardware with high-quality OPAMPS that they don’t want or need to forfeit. Whatever audio device(s) a user has right now, that hardware is ready to go with AMD TrueAudio.
