*****Official Things we BOUGHT in December Thread*****

Those aren't the ones that were on the gadget show that cost ~£700 are they?

No, the earphones are about £130 rrp and the custom tips are about £80. I think they're £70 when you get them to go with the Etymotics (Etymotic and ACS who make the tips are chummy).

I don't know what ones were on the gadget show but quite possibly ACS - they make various sets of custom IEMS, sleeves for IEMs, earplugs for different things, lots of bits.

They're silicone - it's fairly firm and smooth. They come with some gel to help you get them in but I've never had to use it apart from the first couple of times getting used to them. With my ears I just twist them in, it's not uncomfortable, and the seal is perfect. Because they're exactly the right shape and size, there's no pressure like you get with most IEMs - they're not pushing out on my ears, they just fit.

I believe the gadget show used acs t3, and not the t1's.

Anyway i have an ibasso p4 warbler on the way, pics up soon as she arrives.

Xperia Play to replace my ageing HTC Desire. This phone is absolutely mazing and the 5MP camera takes crystal-clear photos. Just need to root and it'll be good to go. :) £154.99 from ChitterChatter, came with accessory bundle thingy.

Bought GTA3 for iOS. About the only thing I've bought on the app store that I've spent more than 2 minutes looking at. £2.99 total bargain.

Imported one for me, one for my bro's.

WOW...I'm not a console person but (assuming that they release that here, (and it looks like they will in 2012) that Rocksmith thingy has really got my attention. And seeing that I got this 2001 fender strat for £220 yesterday...thats looking like a REALLY good learning aid I think.
