*****Official Things we BOUGHT in December Thread*****

May have bought a couple more yo yos today. No idea why I have the sudden urge to play these like I did when I was a kid.

After 3 months of riding a 7 year old cheap mountain-bike to work that hasn't ever had a service, this was a breath of fresh air today!

Very nice, after something similar myself. How much may I ask?

£955

Also £60 for the 23mm slick tyres as it came with 35mm CX tyres that i'll swap on when i go off-road. I also paid a local bike shop another £50 to build it and check the bottom bracket (as there are issues with BB30s being shipped without a decent amount of grease atm, turned out it was near bone dry so glad i asked for that to be checked) as i didn't trust the kid at Halfords, he seemed to know less than i did about building bikes (which is not much). So basically as much as a half decent second hand car :/

Halfords are currently doing 4.5% off if you use a card registered with quidco. It's a lot for a bike but the frame is immensely light and strong so i plan to keep it for decades, just upgrading components as they wear out.

It's nice to see my post has been changed by a mod but several other posts remain in this thread.

Pfft. Power trip?

I really don't see why posting an image taken on my phone with poor lighting is preferred over a professional shot of the exact same object?

I bought these in October but they only came today, so I'm taking a liberty and posting it in this thread :p.
