"Official" threads

Though I agree, updating an OP should be a requirement of making an official thread. Maybe for small releases like indie games it shouldn't be totally necessary but big games that get loads of stupid questions... Rage is a great example of a good OP.

Well, if you're looking for a specific question in a thread, the search function would be key.

But if I'm just browsing for threads and having to dig through tons of "Will my PC run this? Where do I download that?" rubbish, the search functions not going to help.

With the indie threads that only go a few pages, there wouldn't be much point anyway. But the big threads that go on for months need it imo.
