**Official Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Thread**

Crushing actually isn't as hard as you'd think, it's difficult don't get me wrong but it's not much more difficult than Hard. I can think of three sections that really gave me aggro, other than that it was ok. I even managed to kill the final boss in one go, i can't say that much for the train however :(
 
I don't know if it's because I completed it on Normal, then Hard, then Crushing that I found it really easy to do. I didn't find it that much of a challenge on Crushing but that's probably because I found the best ways of doing certain parts when I went through it on Hard.

Doint the right thing at the right time is key.

On the Siege level at the end it is far better to race thru than go slow, at one point I had to go right into an alley but I died, when I respawned just before that part the .... was already there unloading rounds.
 
I've got rid of my copy now. Only got to chapter 12 in the SP. I just found it all a chore. Which is totally mental as I loved the first one. Probably pick it up on the cheap next year when it becomes Platinum. I might be in the mood for it then.
 
So many people are just playing this game again and again to get the trophies, can't understand it tbh. I hate to play story based games multiple times in a short space of time, especially when this game has a great MP mode as well.

At most I see about 16k people playing this online at a time, which seems ridiculously low considering how many copies this has shifted by now? They should have put more MP trophies in it, I am sure that would have increased the online player count.

Sent a few people messages to see if they want to play MP and the replies are usually "no mate I HAVE TO get a platinum trophy on this game and I am on my 3rd playthrough in 2 weeks" etc. It's like watching a movie 3 times in 1 week, just seems pointless, to me.

pfffttt... Thought you might keep it and start playing MP like the Resistance 2 days :p Only about 5 ppl from OcUK playing MP on my list, so need more people!!

Just put up with it for now RP, the obsessives amongst us such as myself are beginning to complete it. I haven't found it boring in the slightest despite it being three playthroughs, the first was a joy as everything was new, the second (on hard), was the perfect difficulty and i knew what to do so it came into its own as a cinematic experience. The third playthrough on crushing was a skip the cutscene affair, just playing it for the challenge which i also enjoyed immensely.

I had several coop games with stella and dinakin last night and if other people i know stick around i'm sure i'll be playing online for some time to come.

No, RP. I told Stella I was totally rubbish and I mean RUBBISH at the MP modes. I'm too old for all the complexities that multi-height levels bring. :D My reflexes are not what they were - I was always getting dragged off ledges, squashed by tanks (WTF where did they come from?) and being blown up by grenades from nowhere. Co-op with three players is a bit too small now coming from the halcyon days of 8-player on Resistance 2. ;)

But Borderlands was calling me. It was always in the back of my mind so I swapped out this game for that.

I am 10 times worse than you at MP games, and I manage (although the multi-height levels did confuse me at first). I know what you mean though.

I am biased though as I don't find that many MP games on PS3 that I spend a long time on. SF4 was the last one, Resistance 2 before that. And this is one of the few games were I am not left behind in terms of ranking up and stuff.

I am stuck playing with stellasuppa and his multiple mates called tony and Dinakin who says "ya-ha" on the mic, a lot :D

Have you got a headset, I will be on later today, stella and co were in a 3P game yesterday so I joined a couple of dudes from the USA and played some co-op.

Yes i do, got the official one. I won't be around this evening, hopefully going to see later with jools holland but will be around tomorrow night and pretty much every day this week (work in a school so have half term atm).
 
I don't play MP at all, just because of the fact I am usually worse than others and end up with ketting killed 10 times compared to getting one kill.

As for playing SP multiple times, I first played on normal, now on hard and maybe later crushing.

It is about the achievement not the story with the harder difficulties and by having played on normal once I know better what strategies to use and which gun is best for what part.
 
Hmmm, looks like I might be having to help out in a gears 2 clan match tonight, so probably won't be able to get any time in on this :(

Still, been ages since played a good round of Gears 2, so not too bad I guess :)
