**Official Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Thread**

I like the game up until they start introducing the paranormal crap. If I want to kill zombies I will play Resident Evil, if I want to shoot yetis I will play a Hunter on WoW.

I don't know what it is but in a game where it goes from humans as enemies to zombies/ghouls/whatever - It ****s me up! But if I'm killing them from the beginning it doesn't bother me at all.

I've still not finished HL2 :p
 
The Yeti encounter is pretty much a very small part of it - put there I guess for atmosphere (you only tackle them twice IIRC). The Zombies though was a far more annoying part of U1...

Persevere...

I managed to get through the smaller yeti encounter earlier in the game, but I'm near the end now (I think) and they're jumping over my head :(

over and over again. That will sort out those Yetis! ;)

Completed this the other night, absolutely fantastic game and really enjoyed the ending...even had me worried about a certain person at one point too. Great fun all the way through, my only complaints really was that the puzzles seemed even more few and far between than the first one, and that the cover system wasn't as good; in Uncharted, you could be behind low cover, push the stick towards the left or right edge and Nate would lean around the corner to open fire, but in U2 he always aims over the top instead. Bit frustrating, but really nothing major.

May have to go back and try and find the treasures I missed though, they were far better-hidden than in the first game!
 
I haven't even touched multiplayer yet, so might be up for some of that tonight :)

panthro: Try installing 3.15 (has to be done manually by searching for new updates from the XMB).

The "story" co-op is the longest way to increase cash imo, and a bit repetitive tbh, I prefer the below 2 modes:

I was just going to play the non story co-op modes tbh.

Gold Rush, you have to escort some treasure from A to B, whilst being attacked by waves of enemies.

Survival, Survive 10 waves of enemies.

Got this the other day after everyone said it was amazing. Currently in Shambala and getting annoyed at these gay blue zombie men but it's still an amazing game.

Loved the beginning the most!
