Yeah, ive been to similar temperatures, but you certainly seem to have got a good overclock from that card, I aint bothered changing the memory clock yet, have you?
 
Yeah I'm not very experienced overclocking GPU's so I'm either doing something wrong or got quite a good chip :P . I've played with the memory but getting lower scores when I take it further.
 
I assume you had to overclock the card through the Catalyst Control Centre because MSi Afterburner only goes to 950Mhz??
 
Pushed it a bit further to 1025MHz core

Thats with dual 6950's unlocked to 6970. and overclocked to the max they will go in CCC. topped 105 degreese c... dunno weather you would want to count this because its not what i run for my day to day gaming. it is something i set up especially for this benchmark. Whatever, just thought id share it with you all.

I'm surprised you have beaten him and got a higher maximum FPS with a Q6600 compared to an I7! and a card thats clocked lower! Weird..
 
hahaha this could drag on... must admit I just got a crash, think I need more voltage to the card... what volts you using?

1.225v and don't really want to go higher. Shame I can't do any more with the memory. Anyway I've put my 2nd screen back in need to play some games rather than another day of benching lol.

I'm quite shocked were going more than 100points over 6970's :)
