Are you doing the set up as requested on the first page? And are your drivers up to date?

30 FPS average is quite a bit low for a 6970.

This v2.5 version of the benchmark calculates the score differently and so EVERYONE is getting lower scores than v2.0.



w3bbo, it might be worth adding something like my above sentence to the first post. This isn't the first time that someone has been deterred from submitting a score since they've been getting "lower" results than v2.0 and not realising it's the benchmark that has changed.

it looks low. only extra 4fps~ with the oc.

something is wrong?

maybe i need remove the 6950 and put the 6990 in the first pcie 16x slot?

Hmm ok tried this with the settings in first post, 29.4fps average, forgot to screeny, this seems far too low for this hardware - i had overclock turned off for this run but still seems too low for my setup, worth a driver reinstall maybe?

also i noticed there arent particular scenes, apart from cobbled street that seem to make the fps change, seems to be a solid 30 all the way through its wierd, also noticed a drop in performance on furmark, when i first got card i was getting about 190fps average, now i get around 110 average, could something have made card deteriorate? have reinstalled OS since so i dont think its software related
 
Ok just did it agian without vsync should have been obvious lol, get a bit of tearing at some scenes though, got 40fps average this time with overclock on as well, better but i just found an old saved benchmark score from 2.0 where my average fps is like 55 with 8X AA and rest of settigns the same :s

This v2.5 version of the benchmark calculates the score differently and so EVERYONE is getting lower scores than v2.0. Do not compare your v2.5 scores vs v2.0 scores.
 
Sorry guys, been snowed under with work. I'll get this sorted tonight though so get all your best scores entered NOW if not done so already :).

Please please PLEASE only post jpeg scores with the correct resolution as I have been updating scores only to find out they are running at the incorrect res. It's fine to say what you have got at alternate settings but I am just looking at the screenshots as I sift through the thread so when folk post screenies showing incorrect resolutions it make my life a little more tedious to update the table! Just say what you get when discussing other settings please, no need for a screeny as proof. Rant over ;).

Trigger Happy - re run res at correct settings please.
Postmanfw - please post a decent screenshot as even with my 30" screen I can't tell what settings you were using. Ta.
