not meaning to cause a stir here, but how has Rickss 5870 trifire beaten 6970 trifire?
HOW!!!
Also the overclock he has is similar to Kevin1234 (850 1000) who is running trifire 5850s, yet he beats him by ~1000 points?
How does he get 30-40% extra from his cards???
I want to know so I can do it to mine!

Some high scores out there! Still a lot of headroom to get mine up which i will be sorting soon and then updating :D
Image is rezised just waiting for photobucket to realise its different..

Done with an EVGA 570

Good results for 2 x 6950s unlocked mate. See mine above. What speeds are you running them at? What drivers are you using?

At the time of the benchmarking the GPU clock was running at 880MHz. The memory clock stayed the same. I'm using 11.3 on CCC.

edit: I have just seen your scores! Very good! I guess that nvidia card for physx is really handy!

Gah, so tempted to crossfire my 6950! The scaling just seems so good.

Just OC'ed to 1000 Heaven score. Got to test it a bit more to see if it's stabled. Failed OCCT though :(

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

My GTX570 Phantom only managed 29 fps with the settings ,i think thats a bit low but i have no idea why !! Maybe Unigine Heaven doesnt like XP :(

Stock clocks and that score? Impressive mate. My Physx card did nout tbh. Sat at 0% utilisation. Only in 3dMark11 does it actually do anything.

I am on driver 11.4, so I think that might have had something to do with it. I imagine if you pushed your cards with OC, you'd easily hit 80fps!

Kudos mate. Nice cards there

With XP, it can't have been DX11 mate?

Hi,
No i set it to DX10 and just ran the benchmark with the same settings just to see and it only managed 29 fps . Didnt go over 55 degrees though.
Could be a nudge to upgrade to W7 Pro which i have had sitting on a shelf here since Oct 09. Still , surely it should have done better than that .:confused:

yea thanks :) but if I decided to OC the temps will be a major issue form me. I already made a drive bay cooling duct to cool both of the graphics cards which keep them under 80c on load. I might just buy a custom vga cooler such as the Arctic cooling Accelero XTREME Plus for both of my cards.

I have just overclocked my GPUs, and here's the results.

CPU: i7 920 D0 @ 4GHz
GPU: 2 x EVGA GTX 580 'Black Ops' SLI
Voltage = 1.138
Core = 932 MHz
Shader = 1864 MHz
Memory = 2355 MHz

I ran 3 tests, one after the other, and this is the middle of the 3 (lowest = 2842, highest = 2868):
