But not stable! :( And I don't want to up voltage...

Down clocked to 925/1325 and will be running that through later.
 
Just upgraded to a 6990, i.e. gone from crossfire 6970s to a 6990 with 6970 tri-fire

Could be a nudge to upgrade to W7 Pro which i have had sitting on a shelf here since Oct 09. Still , surely it should have done better than that .:confused:

You can't have DX10 either ;)

XP only has DX9
 
I ran this test originally on my 480 SOC and got 894. Disappointing to say the least. Just overclocked it and got a better score :) Can't wait to get my second one.

EDIT: With some more tweaking I managed to get a better score on a more stable OC.

It sucks that i cant get the res! Sure i could give you a run for your money BadBoy.

O what volts did you need to get 945? Also are the cards flashed 6950s or real 70?

he has a 6990 + 6970..

my 6990 can do 950mhz with 1.175v which is stock on turbo mode. but my 6950 needs 1.235v for 950mhz...

also i noticed a 6970 gets slightly better results than a 6950 unlocked...

Ye thinking its the RAM, Just gutted i cant get the res that low. Will have to dig an old screen out. Cant get a good base to see how mine is doing. Cant evan run vantage for some strange reason thats giving me errors.

Dont think im doing that bad with 21k on two 6950s @1920x1080
 
@ Thallium, you need to run with 4xAA mate. I think 81fps is a bit much for two unlocked 6950s, or maybe thats just me. Even at 1680x1050 with 4xAA, your score will drop.

But if not, I would love to see you up here with me ;) :P

@ 1920x1080 with all the bells an whistles i got 16982

Didnt look at FPS and stuff. Having problems with the 2nd card and fan settings. Its stuck @20%. Think i live on a ley line :)

Where is this score coming from? The score should be between 0 and 3k mate. Are you using Vantage?
