Just got the new Gigabyte Windforce3x 7970. Sold off my MSI reference which only did 1150/1600 and was pretty loud.

I am very happy with my new card, not only does it OC a lot more, but it is also a lot more quiet.

It is not the best core oc clock out there, but memory is absolute beast. This test is at CoreVoltage 1250, CoreClock 1200 memory 1850!

Test was at autofan, max fan speed reached 75% ( is about same as reference at 40% noise wise) and max temp 64c.

Best I can manage for now it seems..

Gainward gtx 580 phantom 3gb @ 945/1890/2020 on 1.113v

Seen people with memory clocked much higher on a 580 but anything over 2020 on this card and card gives up immediately after heaven loads. Seen reviews saying they couldn't get the core stable above 880mhz but their memory was 2140mhz!

Not sure I'm happy with people not showing the screenshot, at least then you can see if people have "tweaked" their tessllation settings in CC or NV control panels
