Does going into AMD CCC and turning Tesselation off still over ride Heaven and make you get an uber score when you shouldnt?
Nice scores Besty. Great OC you have on the single card.
What's the point in running Heaven without tessellation?VTX3D 7970 on 12.3 catalyst drivers running at stock speeds, rest of rig in sig.

AFAIK but I've not tested you can also reduce the slider so that it applies tessellation but at a lower level than the pre-set in the heaven benchmark( not sure if the AMD Opptimised option does anything for heaven or not but that would also be cheating on the score if it does).

Then if they do that, they are only cheating themselves and have to know that it is a false score showing.
Some updated benches.

Thats all I will be getting out of my cards. These cards are limited by GPU voltage - not temps, all runs were below 50C
How are you getting a higher score at 1080p than your 1050p at the same clocks?
is 3.0 supposed to be blinding? the lights seem really intense compared to 2.5
or is it just me?
edit : here's a couple pics
