***Official Unigine Heaven DX11 3.0 Benchmark Scores***

Does anyone know wtf is going on here:

I bench either of my lightnings @ 100% stock (1202 boost, 6010 mem) and get around 2k. Normal.

I can bench my better clocker heaven stable at 1382mhz (did a 3 hour run) with mem @ +700 (7420mhz) yet the score PLUMMETS down to 1.6/1.7k.

Then if I roll back the clocks to stock and bench again I get the same score 1.6/1.7k o_0? Rebooting doesn't help, I have to physically remove the card and re-insert it.

I also find it pretty weird that on my msi LN2 bios I can boost to 1382 (+180) but move to the stock bios and I can't even get +130. Temps are fine on both. core doesn't exceed 70c @ +180 an the vrms/mem don't exceed 65c ever. Afaik the ln2 bios ignores the power requirements but on the stock bios I don't exceed 80% power target anyway!

Is this driver issues or afterburner issues do we think?

I was worried for a while earlier that my card was dying, until I reseated it and it returned to normal..

I would be inclined to think it is another driver issue. Keep an eye on the MSI sight for your drivers.

Well whatever it is I can't see it improving tbh. MSI has already been slapped by nvidia and are now shipping lightnings without the ln2 bios at all.

In related news, nvidia recently capped all fermi cards at driver-level to an absolute maximum of 1000mhz.

Seems they don't like overclocking one bit.

This has been a shame because I've spent ages today trying to get a good bench score at a core offset of +135 (1337 boost) for the lulz.

Just finished a 1317mhz run and got 1989.

... what is this..

edit: after running heaven for a while the frames are cut in half o_0. At the start with the cobbles I usually get 75-80 fps, second run I'm getting 40 fps.

Do you notice frame drops in games? If you do, I would not be happy and personally I would be hounding MSI as to why. In fact, I would be hounding them regardless as something is wrong.

Something wrong. My Windforce 3x @ 1260 benchs at 2100 ish. My reference at 1285 benched at 2150. (ish)

Yeah I can bench without additional voltage and get around 2200 on card 1.

As soon as I start trying to add core voltage.. le fail. I only ever managed one 'normal' bench on card 1 with additional voltage, where the score came back at 2300~, since then it's always been ****.

I very rarely get fps drops but when I do I put it down to drivers tbh. I run both @ stock core with +300 on mem in SLI with the afterburner frame limiter set to 120. So BF3 I'm pinned at 120 a lot with drops to 115. Very rarely get a huge shudder and drop to 80ish (no idea).

Edit: The way it adds voltage is a right disaster too. It polls the current voltage and tests it against a stored value or something, because voltage is set at the driver level and AB just adds additional on top. However it's messy imo. For core and mem you get +0.1v to play with. So for core that's 1.275v in software. But if you set it to +100mV and click apply it drops to +93. Change a another setting, core clock for example, and click apply: the voltage drops again to +87..

The voltage offset is probably all over the bloody shop when it's running. I've disabled voltage control for now tbh. I may re-enable it to o/c my mem a bit more.. but I cba doing any more benching. The damn heaven bench is so long -_-.

Hi new to these Forums, usually I just read forums but I love bench-marking so I thought I'd join up and post my results too.

My 2x670 cards are reference design, but I made some modifications with a hacksaw:D to make sure I can keep them cool. They are the MSI OC cards which come a little bit better than stock.

My first card is 1008Mhz-Clock, 1087Mhz-Boost and +143 Kepler boost = 1230Mhz
The Memory is at 1734Mhz so 6936 Effectively

My Second card is 1034-Clock, 1113-boost and +117 kepler Boost = 1230Mhz
with the same clock on the memory as above.

Here's my results for 1080P - 3752 Score

And heres my results for 1050p - 4163 Score

scratch that. I prefer this one. Not sure how a higher offset on mem on gpu2 netted me a lower mem freq, but that mem is **** anyway so meh..

I have not disabled my onboard GPU and it is just first on the list. I can link to my 680 if needed?

What a joke...

Should have made it very clear in the OP and give full instuctions

I think clocking the mem too high was causing my problems. It seemed perfectly stabled @ +700 with extra voltage, no artifacts etc, but when I exceed around +630 my score will tank once and then from then on will be rubbish.

With single card:
I think the core on gpu1 is good for +177~ maybe +176 mostly stable. I can bench fully stable @ +175(1377Mhz) as below.
I can actually bench core at +200 (1402Mhz boost), but it's not stable enough to complete a heaven run. Even tried downclocking the memory but didn't help.

Anyway, my single GPU submission:

GPU-Z (lol): http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/gwym4/

Settings:

Afterburner 2.2.3
driver 304.79 beta
2700k@ 4.8Ghz

1377Mhz core boost, 3637(7274Mhz) mem
Core volts +93mV
Mem volts +30mV
Aux volts stock
Power limit 300%
Core offset +175Mhz
Mem offset +630Mhz
SS:

Score 2358

There's morrre in the tank, there must be!

This is all on air btw. Hoping water might free up a few mhz here and there..
