Have you tried ocing the CPU and using the same GPU settings.

1.3v. Afterburner no longer works for me with the 12.11 drivers, so I use Sapphire Trixx instead. Temps stay below 70 for me unless I do run silly like furmark. I can bench 3DMark11 at 1360MHz and even 1375MHz at an extreme push but heaven cannot take any more than 1340.What voltage you putting through that 7870 to achieve that ? Temps ok ?
I'm still loving my B-grade 7870![]()

For Sli the 306.23 seem to be the best
For Quad Sli 301.42 seem to work best
I think nvidia really drag their feet with quad sli.
I have also noticed although its been a long time since I tried it, that with 301.42 drivers using extreme settings (everything maxed out) @1600p going from 2 GPUs to 4 GPUs on this benchmark I get almost 100% scaling. Unfortunately using the settings on this thread the scaling is appauling and ocing the CPU does little to help.
For gaming I still use 301.42, I don't know if more modern drivers work any better for FPS but @1600p a few frames difference I would not notice anyway.
Been running 304.79 while I waited for my replacement card,
back to tri sli now![]()
I'll try 301.42 as struggling with Crysis3 MP at the moment.
Have you tried 306.23 for 2 GPUs on mine anyway it seems to work better than any of the other drivers in 3dmark11 and heaven 3. It might even be good for 3 GPUs but I have no way of testing.
I tried 304.79 and found in benchmarks anyway I took a hit on performance.
